It’s working well so far. I will have to come back and update my review it doesn’t. The only I’m concerned with is that it only says good for 15,000 gallons but it doesn’t tell you how much to use for smaller pools. I calculated approximately 3,000 gallons for my 8x12 ft pool. I had algae in my pool before closing so I put in 3/4 of the bottle and it made my total chlorine really high but the algae never came back. ... show more

Tell me the way to Spring to open the pool to see if it was effective. I took a peek and the water is clear and it's been a butt. 2 months month and a 1/2, so get so far. I'd buy it again.

    • Didn't seem to do much my pool was still Green upon opening
I threw it in, didn't seem to do anything, pool was still Green when I opened it, despite putting this and other chemicals throughout the winter. I wouldn't buy this again.

Not sure what you expect, but it's milk. It tastes like milk. It looks like milk. The package says it's milk. Works great in recipes, to drink, or to have with cereal. For milk, it's milk! Lol

    • I found this product has worked very good when I open the pool
I had installed a new filter and used this product to close my pool last year and when I opened the pool this year it was very easy to get clear water for the first time in years. Could be the new sand filter, and this product. Either way I did have a smooth opening this year in May.

So it worked for some but not others makes me think people didn't shock their pool before adding this product!!
