My in-ground pool is screened in so doesn't get that dirty. The pool is 10,000 gal, deep end 4ft and shallow 3ft so an easy clean. I get into the water because although the blaster does a great clean it does have to be held down which is easy enough. There was a lot of sand from pressure washing the deck and it did a great vacum job, along with cleaning the fine pollen/silt type dirt. My pool does not require heavy duty cleaning and after spending way too much money on pressure side connected with booster pump cleaners, I love the Blaster. Recommend. ... show more

    • Don’t drag backward like your home vac

This actually works. I tried a robotic vacuum and this one works better. I have an above ground pool. Don’t try to pull it backward as you would your home vacuum. I found it works better with a forward motion. If your pool is particularly dirty, I found it also best to pause in between vacuums and rinse the filter. I did feel that the pole set up was a tad bit flimsy, although I am heavy-handed, so was it me or it? The picture instructions were horrible, but it was very easy to put together. ... show more

I needed something to get the sand and debris off the bottom of my inflatable spa. I wanted a quality product that would make the job quick, but also didn't want to spend a ton of money. This was exactly what I wanted! Easy to empty and clean the filter. Recharges quickly. Suction was better than I anticipated! The pole is made of plastic extensions and a bit flimsy. The POOL BLASTER Centennial model is excellent as a substitute for the traditional or more modern robotic pool vacuums. It is powerful enough to suck up sand and small gravel grains from the bottom of our pool-from both the 6 foot deep end as well as from the sitting area. A major wind storm that struck Las Vegas a few days ago blew up to an inch (in some areas) of fine and course sand and even some larger gravel pieces into our 16,000 gal inground pool. The pool was a disaster, to say the least . I decided to use the POOL BLASTER Water Tech Catfish Rechargeable, Battery-Powered, Swimming Pool Cleaner that we already own on this mess but it could not even begin to do the trick. So I ordered this centennial model and am very glad I did. I filled the debris cannister to the top 8 times and recharged the vacuum 6 times to completely clear all of the sand and gravel debris from the bottom of our pool! The vacuum battery when fully charged worked for approximately 40 minutes each time. Cleaning between use and charging the device was a breeze and took no more than 5 minutes each time. In this day of mediocrity (at best) in product performance, this vacuum stands out because it works exceptionally well and I highly recommend this vacuum to anyone who has a high maintenance inground pool. ... show more
