  • Works great, easy to use
Item Shape: Pulse
I purchased this to keep my 18' round above ground pool clean. It was very simple to assemble out of the box. I charged it for a couple of hours before use just to be sure. It is very easy to push around the floor of the pool. My ground isn't exactly level and the liner isn't spread 100% out, so there are folds but the vacuum is able to roll over them. It tends to try and float, so you're always applying downward pressure, but this isn't overwhelming. It picks up all small debris, leaves, small twigs, and plenty that you don't see. Very easy to disassemble to clean. Lift the lever, take it apart, twist the filter and use a nozzle with a jet option to clean it off from front and back. I haven't used it for more than about 45 minutes at a time, but the battery has never run out. Excellent purchase. ... show more

  • Perfect...Does the job well!
Item Shape: Pulse
I see why this has great reviews. It's light weight; easy to use; easy to clean (huge plus for me); stays charged long enough to get the job done (for me anyway bout 45 min I'd guess) and was fairly intuitive to assemble. I did not use the poles that come with it as others said they are flimsy. (They do seem a bit wobbly even though I have not use them). I just use my pole that I skim with. This is not a vac to use for huge debris pieces but for the day to day stuff (leaves; dirt; small sticks etc) that fall into the pool, it works wonderfully. I have a lot of trees surrounding my pool and the last two nights we had storms. I vacc'd the debris today after skimming the larger parts. I have to use a ladder to work my way around pool since I have an above ground but it's light weight enough that it's still easy to use. It will be even easier to use once the water is warm enough to actually get in the pool bc it's a little harder to keep the head of the vac on the floor (tends to want to float) when cleaning from outside of the pool . This is no fault of the unit...if it stayed on the ground, it would probably be too heavy for me to work with. Once inside pool, I can walk with it and it will always be on the floor of the pool. See photos of how easily the hose cleans the cone. No rubbing, no touching, just spraying it does the job. This was for sure what I have needed for several years (I didn't know they existed). No messing around with hose; no cords; no cannisters; no skimmer socks etc. EZ PZ ... show more

  • Better than the robot vacuum
Item Shape: Centennial
I should have just bought this the first time. I initially saw it but decided to try and save $60 and go with a pool robot that had decent reviews. If you're on the edge like I was, just buy the dang thing. Being new to the pool world this season, we didn't want to purchase a vacuum that cost almost as much as the pool itself. Our pool is fairly close to a tree line and we kept getting a bunch of small seedlings in the pool along with pollen and leaves. Overall, this vacuum works very well. It got up all the decayed leaves that had accumulated while waiting on this to arrive. Not just the leaves, but the gross, slimy bits that had decayed and fallen to the pool floor. It got up the seedlings floating around and even smaller sticks. It has a pretty decent size canister but why I didn't give it a 5 star review is because the filter gets impacted with all the yuck before the canister itself fills. Fresh, larger leaves can also get stuck in the entry tube causing loss of suction. I had to empty the canister about 3 times (18ft round pool) to clear off the filter to allow for full suction to recommence. Granted, the pool was overdo for a cleaning as the other vacuum hadn't worked properly and we had to order and wait on this to arrive. Either way, the filter getting clogged does impact the suction power, and if you have quite a few leaves hanging around the pool floor, they'll likely get stuck trying to vacuum them all up. The pole, while plastic, worked just fine. It didn't bend or break while being used. Only down side, it doesn't reach to the center of the pool if standing outside it. Had to use our adjustable, aluminum pole for that. Charging was pretty quick, easy indication light to know when it's fully powered. If using regularly, 45 minutes should give plenty of time for cleaning an 18' or smaller pool. If a large storm comes through and blows a ton of leaves, pollen, and sticks into the bottom, you might need to recharge before getting your pool back to normal. ... show more

  • Quality Vacuum for my inflatable spa (Hot Tub)
Item Shape: Centennial
I needed something to get the sand and debris off the bottom of my inflatable spa. I wanted a quality product that would make the job quick, but also didn't want to spend a ton of money. This was exactly what I wanted! Easy to empty and clean the filter. Recharges quickly. Suction was better than I anticipated! The pole is made of plastic extensions and a bit flimsy. However, for my shallow depth and small area, it works adequately. ... show more

  • Pefect after many hours of research.
Item Shape: Pulse
I wanted a vacuum for our decorative water bowl feature. It is quite large and was using a shop vac before I found this product. I did many hours of research on the other brands and reading their reviews. This vacuum is absolutley perfect for our task. It's suction is strong and vacuums up all the silt that the pump keep recirculating into the bowl. I love the run time and the fine filter basket. We have even used it in the pool for spot cleaning. Excellent product. ... show more

  • Handy Pool Tool
Item Shape: Centennial
I have inground floor cleaners in my pool but still manage to collect dirt debris in a couple of corners. This vacuum has been incredible. No more debris in corner. Picks up leaves, fine dirt, so far everything that has landed in my pool. I've gone so far as to sweep the entire pool, that easy to use. Holds a charge well. One caveat for pool sweeping, the handle is cheap and flimsy. Easy fix the unit attaches to a standard pool pole. For above ground I would purchase a fix short pole. For my inground easy using the standard pole. Unless you need a full pool sweep this tool is great for spot clean up, or if you're feeling energetic do the whole pool. Going SLOW, and keep the head unit flat to the pool surface ensures great results. ... show more
