These work well however the quality has decreased over the years. If you zoom in on my photo you will see the right curtain is very blacked out while the left curtain does let some light in. The right curtain was purchased 3 years ago (has been hung and used since then), so it's clear that some shortcuts are now being taken in the production of these curtains. Only four stars because they don't darken the room as well as they claim but I'm so happy with them anyway!! We have so many other things to do until we paint our dark paneling and I wanted curtains to really brighten up the room while also darkening the sunlight lol These did the job!! These curtains are very pretty and look nice hanging. I haven't taken them down to wash them yet so I'm not sure how they'll hold up but I think they'll be fine. They do block out the sun so it's not right in our faces anymore while we're trying to relax after a busy day.
