This chair looks like weather gray wood a bit and is very comfortable. The height is perfect for getting in and out of. The poly lumber is thick and sturdy. The chair went together really quickly. We had it put together in under 10 minutes with a drill but it could be done with one person manually in not much time too. I have seen Polywood chairs and these are close but not quite as refined in the finish but for being almost half the price, it is a small detail and easily overlooked. This is an OK chair. Not as sturdy as many of the other (and more expensive) patio chairs you can buy. However, once together it seems fairly sturdy. While it wasn't horrible to assemble, it was a pain. The instructions are not very clear, in particular to how some of the pieces sit, in other words, is it a left piece or right. They show them separately on the instructions, but the pieces aren't marked. Most companies would have some small stickers telling you which was which, but they don't. So, after a few minor mistakes, it started to come together. They provide a hexagonal allen wrench to assemble it with the provided screws. If you have a hexagonal screwdriver or drill bit you'll want to use it. The holes weren't all cut out cleanly, which meant I was "drilling" with an allen wrench. That's not the way to go. Once I remembered I had a multi-tip screwdriver with the appropriate tip, it went much more quickly. It's a shame the screws aren't darker. Once you finish installing all of them you have these bright silver screws along each side....it would be nicer if you didn't see them. At the price this is a decent chair. Just be careful and patient while assembling. ... show more

I have 16 Adirondack chairs by multiple manufacturers. This one doesn’t have and extra box for reinforcement behind the seat & it doesn’t have cup holders or an umbrella holder. It is however the most comfortable seating angle of all my chairs. It is also the easiest to get in and out of. I would happily trade cup holders for a more comfortable angle so I’m happy with this chair. I added a cushion for comfort and this is my favorite chair to sit in outside. Unfortunately my cat agrees and I can’t keep her off of it. This is the only one I own that’s assembled with just screws & they’re all the same size to simplify things. The parts aren’t labeled but easy to figure out what goes where. The two support bars that go on the bottom of the chair are different lengths. The long one goes in the front. This chair has some minor manufacturing imperfections as do most of these style chairs. ... show more

This is a great chair. The styling and curve of the seat fits perfectly when in it. The material is a composite that has the color all the way through so a scratch won't be noticed. It's a bit heavy which is great for outside furniture as the wind won't flip these around. I was able to put this together, alone with no help in a bit over 15 min. This chair is quite heavy and sturdy. It's made from composite lumber, so it should never need painting and should hold up well in the sun. It was simple to assemble and is attractive to look at. It's comfortable except for wanting a low back cushion.
