I have gone through several hoses like this and they were poor. Ends broke, sprung leaks and most of all, low flow and would not run a sprinkler. This is not one of those. This one works very well and I will buy another for the back yard.

    • What is Amazon doing? Are the buyers asleep?
This product was given to me as a gift. Upon receipt, I knew that its construction and design would not stand up to even minimal use and....I was right. After six months of careful use, it developed a leak, that due its design was unrepairable. Most garden hoses are durable enough to deal with an occasional scuff or kink. If a leak develops, it can usually be repaired This one is not. I was moving it from one part of the yard to another location when it developed a kink. I relaxed the hose, moved it and eliminated the kink. A few moments later, it began to leak and then a substantial leak was created, between the coil structure. There is no repair...and no warranty/repair service available. My question is why Amazon permits such inferior/badly designed products to be sold on their site. I'm not an engineer, but out of the box, this is a piece of junk. Judging from the Review commentary, this is and has been a common problem, with no resolution. After reading the commentary, I am astounded that Amazon still continues to offer (and support) such firms selling items that should be listed under the Caveat Emptor category. It may have uses beyond the garden or whatever other uses the Manufacturer dreams up, but it is still not an item that should be on the market for general use. And no, I am not advocating that Big Brother step in and slap the hands of this firm! Simply, at $50+, this item has little redeeming value. Unfortunately, the gift giver in this case didn't read the commentary. But for a product so poorly designed, why is Amazon offering it? For the sake of evaluation, the product was stored in a large, covered plastic tub, in a collapsed state, and kept clean and dry. Water pressure at this spigot is about 35-40 psi and it was never left under pressure for more than 5-10 minutes. If Amazon wishes to further its business, it would be well served to eliminate poorly designed, defective, and badly manufactured merchandise. The Amazon buyers should have at least a modicum of design sense and eliminate such products from its offerings, especially in view of the wide-spread dissatisfaction indicated in the Review commentary. At $50+ a pop, the marketplace works too slowly and is too easily manipulated to control such vendors. Being unwilling or unable to control the quality of the products it offers, speaks badly to Amazon's reputation. If the customer can no longer trust the seller, what's the point... ... show more

    • I love pocket hoses
I've had several brands of these types of hoses, and while this brand seems to be the most durable, none of them last a super long time. To be fair, we live in South Florida, and between the sun and the salty ocean air nothing really lasts very long down here. I have to buy a new pocket hose about once a year - year and a half or so. Still, they're worth the money to me. We have a lot of plants outside, and there are some areas of the yard that our sprinkler system doesn't get to, so I have lots of stuff to water by hand. These hoses are lightweight and so much easier to put away when you're done with them. Just let it drain and then coil it up in a flower pot near the spigot. ... show more

This was delivered on May 13th and yesterday just a little over a month old it burst. It states in the description that it won’t but it did. And of course it did right after the window closed to be able to send it back for a refund.. I would not recommend.

    • Don't keep it in the sun or it will cause it to leak.
They don't last long. They can't be left in the sun or they will have to be replaced because they start to leak through the hose itself. Some of them by the same name are nearly 10 bucks more for the exact same product. I don't know if it is because of defects or what. I need a flexible hose to wash off pollen and water vegetables in containers. They are very poor quality. They are not but half the size they say they are. The 100 ft hose is about 50 feet long when in use. The 25 ft is only 10 feet long. I have used these for years and they are not worthy. But they are cheaper than others that kink up. They don't kink up. They will bust if a tire runs over it even when not in use. I take care of a handicap person who run over it stretched out and not in use. It leaked so bad that I had to throw it away from a wheelchair going over it even not in use. I am going to be much more careful with the hose now. I will wind up when not in use because it will cause leaks if left in the sun. Not worth the money. The only good thing is that they don't kink. I like that. I think that the price difference between the exact same hose on Amazon must be the inferior products even though the reviews are exactly the same thing. Silver bullet. Not worth it but nothing is these days. ... show more

This was a replacement hose for one that exploded at the end that attaches to the tap. I do not know how old the previous hose was as we are renting the house. However, got the same brand and hope for better luck this time

    • Warning: No warranty
I tried contacting the Seller to find out about the warranty, but got no response. TV commercials say 10 years, but so far I’ve not heard of anyone being able to verify that warranty exists. Found a100” 3/4” hose at HD made by the same company. No warranty mentioned on the box, so HD tried to contact them. No response. These expandable hoses all spring unfixable leaks or burst pretty quickly. I would never buy one without a warranty. I returned this one. ... show more
