Most people probably look at the price of this product and move on to cheaper options... and that's a big mistake. Every other preworkout I've ever taken (and there are many) makes bold label claims about having creatine, arginine, citrulline, beta alanine... you name it. If you do your homework, all of those products have only trace (i.e. completely ineffective) amounts of the ingredients that they tout on the label... except this one. Pump Fuel properly doses creatine, citrulline, arginine, and beta alanine. I know this because they tell you the amounts on the bottle; they aren't hidden in a proprietary blend! Additionally, Kre-Alkalyn (or buffered creatine monohydrate) is the best, most proven type of creatine that exists. This brings me back to price... if you buy another preworkout and add bulk creatine, citrulline, arginine, and beta alanine (which I used to do), the cost of all that would far exceed the price of this product. I know because I used to do it. The flavors are all pretty good, but my favorites are Strawberry Slam, Tropical Orange Mango, Cherry Bombsicle, and Island Punch (Medium Stim). Speaking of stims, I also like that they have 3 dosing options: full stim (325mg caffeine), medium stim (200mg), and no stim. I use them differently; I take the full stim variant on upper body days, the medium stim variant on lower body days when having a higher heart rate is less comfortable, and the zero stim variant on non-training days to maintain my creatine load, etc. As long as this product exists in its current state of quality, I can't justify ever using anything else. ... show more

The flavor is fantastic (strawberry). This is by far the best preworkout I've ever used. Crazy energy, but focused. I don't feel all cracked out. I took a scoop of this and on my way to my car I saw a squirrel and I took off after it. And I caught it! Even after it climbed the tree. Then I forgot to drive to work, I ended up running the whole way. AND got a speeding ticket in the process. 😅 ... show more

Jesus christ! Let me start out by saying that I drink enough caffeine (coffee) daily to kill a horse. Follow the directions and do 1 scoop MAX. You hear me?? MAXIMUM. Anymore than that and youll feel like garbage after your workout. No exaggeration. I felt like I was going to puke. Side note: this pre is slow moving. Flavor is good, mixes in water, but not completely. You will have to swirl the last bit of water around to consume whats left. Didn’t find it made any difference in my workout. Maybe it’s due to the lack of caffeine. However, I was looking for a pre-workout supplement without the caffeine as most of them have it in an abundance. For the expense of this product, it would be better to get another brand with the caffeine and call it a day. This product is not worth the cost. Also, I found I did not have a good night sleep after taking this more than 12 hours earlier in the day before a workout. I really only use this product for a pre-workout drink. I like to try different flavors so I can determine which is my fav. So far the Grape is the best 1 for me. Some others are just too sweet & that makes my stomach upset while I’m working out. The Grape, as you can imagine, has a more bland flavor but I think it’s good. This Cherry flavor isn’t as sweet as others I’ve tried in this brand but it’s very thick. I guess I didn’t expect that. When I mix this with water it gives a very thick foam at top to drink through, like a thick head of beer. Not exactly desirable. I’ve tried to leave it for 5 min but it stays foamy at the top. The 3rd thing I don’t care for w/ this mix is it just doesn’t mix well. I’ve tried to leave it mixing for 2 minutes but nevertheless it still leaves quite a bit of granules of the mix at the bottom when you pour it into a cup. When I wash my mixer out, it seems like I’m washing away so much of the mix. Or if I try to get that into my drink then I’m left with a mouthful of the mix at the end. Gross. I just have never had that issue w/ this brand before. I’d recommend the flavor, it is good, but just understand what you’ll be getting. I could probably get past everything except for the foamy head. I really don’t like that. I’ll stick to foam in my beer. ... show more

A coworker of mine gave me a scoop of this one day when I was dragging at work. After taking it I was wired and awake for the rest of the shift. Definitely very effective as a pick me up. So I picked up some for myself and I have to say this is the most effective pre-workout I’ve taken. It works very well and lasts a good while. You’ll be able to get a good workout taking this for sure. The taste on this one is that great though. Tolerable. But hey it gets the job done so I can’t really complain. Value wise this works out to about the same price as 30 energy drinks. And this works a lot better. So it’s actually priced very well. ... show more

This is a quality pre-workout, with lots of pump. I took six months off from using any pre-workouts before trying this. The effects were noticeable and a single scoop at 30 grams was too much. 10 to 15 is probably all that one should need for a good two-hour routine. I was recommended this product by a co-worker, so I tried it. Wow, this is one of the best tasting pre workouts I have taken, so long days of struggling to drink what tasted like ground up pills.
