The 7-inch touchscreen is clear and responsive, making navigation through menus easy. The wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto work seamlessly, making hands-free use a breeze. Sound quality is great, especially after adjusting the EQ settings to my liking. My wife bought me this stereo for Christmas. I installed it myself 2 days later. So far the stereo has been working great. Sound quality is far better than the stock stereo, even while still using the stock speakers. Installation was easy. CarPlay function works seamlessly so far, including mirroring my iPhone (when plugged in). The included backup camera is very clear and has built in led lights to help when backing into a dark driveway or space at night. Overall impressed for such an inexpensive option. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. If your looking for an inexpensive, big touchscreen with all the features such as CarPlay and android auto this is a serious contender. Installed this unit in my semi truck a couple days now and so far it’s been pretty good. Installation process was very quick and it immediately booted up. Outputs a lot more volume than my oem radio and screen quality is very sharp. I do love the adjustable brightness or just turn off the screen completely while the music plays. It connects seamlessly to CarPlay upon boot up and works fantastic. Has a built in mic so no having to run any mic wires is a huge plus. Ahead an additional 3A fast charging port which is very useful. Customer service was also very responsive and quick in my request for a new boot up logo as it can be change and a new software updates; all of which came with detailed instructions on the installation process. Overall so far it’s has blown my expectations out the water, looks really clean and sleek in the cab and would definitely recommend it those who are wanting the same ... show more

    • Actually pretty good, especially for the price

My expensive, name brand, stereo decided to become possessed and start doing weird stuff, so I needed to replace it. I didn't have high expectations of this replacement, but I'm pleasantly surprised so far. It was an easy install, as I already had a wiring harness and bracket for the old 7" HU, and previously installed rear camera and wiring. The screen is considerably better than the Pioneer it replaced, and the sound is fantastic. I really like the physical volume knobs and all of the function buttons being on the left side of the unit. I really like wireless Android Auto connection, but it has some issues as detailed below. What I don't like, and why it doesn't get 5 stars: you can't listen to the radio and have android auto running. The old unit, you could. So, you don't get navigation prompts or a map if you want to listen to the radio. That was solved by an I Heart Radio app, and thankfully I have unlimited data on my phone plan. But I can see it would be an issue for some, and should be something a software update could fix. I also have the occasional android auto connection issue. Sometimes it automatically connects when I start the car, sometimes it doesn't, and sometimes it takes 5-10 minutes to connect. It also uses wifi to connect, not just Bluetooth. This is annoying, and sometimes I have to shut the car off, wait for the unitbto power down, and restart the car to get the unit and phone to connect. When it works, though, I really like it. I also HATE the built in mic on the unit. It's tiny, and far away. People say they can hear me, but I sound like I'm in a tunnel. There's seemingly no place to install an external mic (at least no where that I could install my pre-existing external mic). It's functional, but problematic. For the price pf the unit, however, it's not necessarily a deal breaker. Overall, good unit for the price. Now let's see how long it lasts. ... show more

I replaced the old factory radio on my '05 Ram with this unit and I'm happy with it! It's a very nice upgrade to my basic truck. I find the touch screen response very quick and the resolution is very good and app icons are clear even in bright daylight. Wireless Android Auto works nicely, and I only experienced some connection issues after installing the firmware update. Their customer support is very good at addressing these kinds of problems so don't hesitate to contact them before questioning your choice to buy their product. Going into Android Auto settings, forgetting the previously stored connections and pairing with the head unit once again restored reliable connection, and now the app works flawlessly. I also followed their instructions to change the factory gain settings and raise the voice navigation volume so it's audible while using the radio. Now I can listen to AM/FM stations and hear navigation clearly announce turn by turn directions when they come through. The kit came with the rear view camera & cables and having it activate to see what's behind when reversing makes parking easier and safer. They even provided the Ram splash screen to integrate with my ride. This is a very nice kit. It's a great price with all these features. It makes all the difference to find that this company provides great customer support after you buy. That and a great product earns PLZ 5 stars from me! ... show more
