Running the violen is really easy with this tool

  • A great small tuning fork.
Style: Tone E
It's a tuning fork, so what's to say? Well, it's accurate. I bought two and they're both exactly 329.6hz. I tested them. It's as loud as any fork this size, which means not very. It sustains as well as any fork this size, which means about 20 seconds. There are no sharp edges, so there are no worries about scratching the bridge of my guitar if I want to hold the fork there. The only criticism I can offer is that the little colored band that denotes what pitch the fork is (in this case, green) is a loose-fitting rubber band kind of thing that sits in a groove and will fall out of it constantly. It's annoying only if you have multiple forks at different pitches. ... show more

  • Works
Style: Tone E
Does exactly what it's advertised to do. The only con is that the color band on the handle keeps coming off as it's basically just a loose rubber band. Don't know why they chose to do that instead of just painting it or gluing it in but it's unnecessary anyway so not a big deal. I saw a few reviews disparaging that they can't hear it or that it's too quiet. Just a tip for those folks or for potential buyers: after pinging it press the bottom end to your guitar's saddle or top and it will amplify the sound. ... show more

  • A little off on the pitch
Style: Tone E
Used it to tune my Guitar, and checked it with an electronic tuner that said it was a little flat on the tuning. Checked it on 2 devices. But close enough for a beginner to learn how to tune a guitar the ole fashioned way. (my Grandson)
