I used this with a reusable spool that I printed for my BambuLab P1S. It was easy to mount on the spool. I have been pleased with the results from the prints I have done with it. With spring and St. Patrick's Day coming up I am sure I will print more things using green filament.

Have yet to put them on my printer, simply because it hasn't arrived yet, but these are the best designed and manufactured spools I've ever seen and I will surely be adding more to my collection for our new business!!

Easy to fit on empty Bambu spool, included a sticker to go on the Spool's side. I have a A1 printer without the AMS. I have used up over 1/2 of the spool with no problems, Good quality printing. Is a good match with Bambulabs as an alternative to waiting for the brand one. Quality is good. The only issue I had was at the beginning of the print the spool got tangled, just had to untangle it. Print quality was satisfactory. Size is the same as a refillable spool from Bambu.

This is my first time ordering a master spool/replacement spool of filament. First, let’s talk about how the filament prints. For the most part it’s OK. There weren’t serious issues however, upon close inspection, you can see there was a teeny little bit of stringing. Also, you’ll notice a couple hol
es. The holes are a bit concerning to me. It’s usually a sign that the filament absorbed moisture and needs to be dried. I will say that the print turned out pretty strong though. The layer adhesion is great, I was not able to break the test print with my hands. I was able to snap off the antlers, but those are pretty easy, even still they gave me a tiny bit of trouble to break. So, all in all the print quality is OK. The orange had more stringing but no holes in the extruded material. It’s a little deeper orange than overture pla orange and not as translucent. It’s not quite as vivid as prusa orange (nothings as orange as prusa orange lol). It looks great and prints are super strong, great layer adhesion! Now let’s talk about the spool and using master spools. I haven’t used one before so I want to maker world and downloaded the file for bamboo’s master spool. I printed mine out of PETG in case I needed to toss the stuff in a dryer (it looks like I’m going to need to toss it in a dryer). While the spool refill itself costs $17 at the time of this review, I think we need to take into account that I used five dollars worth of PETG to print the spool halves. The refill is wound somewhat neatly but it shift around a bit. There’s a little bit of slack between the sides of the spool and the roll filament. I’m worried the filament will get stuck in the side or even get pulled down into the middle while printing. This hasn’t happened yet it’s just something I’m concerned about. It’s nice that it’s sized properly to go right onto a bambu AMS unit. If I was to keep using this brand, I would consider purchasing one of their metal master spools in the hopes that it was more rigid and fit the refill better.
