This thing is awesome to grill on. Holds temperatures rock-steady, and I love that you can easily use it as direct heat (brats and burgers), indirect BBQ, or indirect low-and-slow smoking. Only critique would be the assembly of the legs; they just do not fit very well. My grill requires sanding the paint off the legs in order for them to fit in the slots well enough. ... show more

Massive gaps between upper and lower sections. If you close all the air vents it will still continue to cook because of the air leaks. They don't make them like they use to. It's a shame. PK fan boys will tell you the gaps don't matter, just use it. Yet, PK spends lots of money advertising it in videos as being air tight. So, that would mean manufacturing defects (in China). Don't be fooled by the 5 minute video talking about air control and wider flanges to make it air tight. If the lid and bowl are warped in manufacturing, you could make the flange 3" wide and it wouldn't matter. It is way overpriced for a leaky tub of aluminum. ... show more

Takes some getting used to, however, enjoying all food off of grill. Very happy with it. Putting it together maybe took 30 minutes. Seems stout enough to last a long time.
