    • Well made and very useful for take home bake pizza
I brought home a "you bake" pizza, eg Papa Murphy's, for the first time this week. The pizza comes on a very thin and somewhat flimsy paper plate. Instructions suggest after 10 minutes of baking, remove the paper plate for a crispier crust. I didn't remove the paper plate because I couldn't figure out how to remove the pizza from the oven safely once it had fully baked. I found this paddle which will allow me to remove the finished pizza from the oven. Yay! It comes with a handle with a rawhide loop to hang it up and there is an extension piece to make the handle double in length. The single length handle should be adequate for your home oven. Then there is the rocker cutter. It is large enough to cut a 16" pizza. The cutting edge is quite sharp and has a plastic guard for when not in use. If you have children, I would suggest this cutter should be kept out of their reach. With it being so sharp, it could do a lot of damage in the wrong hands. I appreciate the sharp edge. It also has a hole in one end to hang up (out of the reach of children). If you like to bake pizza at home, this is a handy tool to safely put in/take out your pizza from the oven. And the rocker cutter will give you clean cuts for slices. ... show more

The pizza peel works great, and can be used with one of the handles or both. It's large enough to move or pull at least a 16" pizza easily. The peel itself is thick and sturdy, and the rocker is a nice addition, but is the products weak point. The rocker is thin and lightweight, but this makes it kind of flimsy, and it feels like it might warp easily. It's not as sharp as it needs to be to cut through softer crusts, but works great with crispy crust. ... show more

My old pizza peel is wood, thick wood. Always wanted the slick metal peel that would easily slide under the pizza. My regular pizza cutter is the handle with a sharp cutting wheel...takes a lot of wrist strength to cut that pizza all the way. This particular Pizza set looked interesting. The peel plate screws on to a long handle post that also has an extension. Use one portion of the handle for short distances working with your home oven. Use both handle pieces connected for a super long handle should you have one of those super-hot outdoor pizza ovens. Now the pizza cutter is so simple...stainless steel rolled into a tube on the side for easy grip, whereas the opposite side is cut into a curve and sharpened to knife sharpness. You simply hold it over the pizza and rock it to and fro using body weight to cut the pizza. Plus it has a hole cut into the end where you can hang it up, in addition to having an edge guard to slide over the blade when not in use. Cool set up. Will get lots of use. ... show more

the cutter is very dull. like "put-all-my-weight-on-it-and-still-not-cut" dull. but i'm not gonna take any stars off for that, because its made really well and probably should not be shipped sharp anyway. it comes with a protector but still. no stars taken away. this pizza taker-outer-thing (spatula is a boring word) is very long. the handle is 2 sections that screw together, so i recommend just putting one section for the kitchen oven. But the extra section is always ready if you need it. I love this and have been looking to snag one for a long time. I got a good one and i recommend it i hope this is helpful. ... show more
