This screen protector was a cinch to apply. With proper preparations, my first protector went on flawlessly and I didn’t personally run into any alignment issues with the provided frame as other reviewers have mentioned. The protector also looks sleek and disperses reflections/glare well. In my attached images, I’ve provided a comparison by shining a light directly on the installed matte protector and then on a competing company’s glossy protector laid over it. As you can see, the light’s glare is greatly reduced with this product. I was hesitant to put a matte film on my OLED Steam Deck since I’m a stickler for screen imperfections but I have found the trade-offs to be worth it (but there definitely are trade-offs to keep in mind). The two primary detracting aspects I’ve noticed are that there is a perceptible graininess added to the image, especially on bright scenes, and that a small amount of light dissipation also occurs in the image projected from the screen through the protector resulting in some blooming. I should mention that I’ve noticed the same (albeit reduced) graininess from similar clear glossy protectors as well. With those sacrifices mentioned, I haven’t noticed a significant decrease in color production, black levels, or image clarity. The image is a tad “softer” but I wouldn’t describe the effect as blurry. Whether you like the impact on the image in this regard will likely be strictly subjective. I’m giving this product 5 stars as this appears to be a quality product that does exactly what it advertises. The screen protector is incredibly easy to install. If done correctly, you won’t find any dust or bubbles inside. Even if you do, it’s simple to remove them by peeling the screen protector very carefully and using the included stickers to remove any dust or contaminants. I also love the antiglare feature; it feels like I don’t have anything on the screen of my limited edition white Steam Deck OLED witch already has an etched screen. ... show more

Pros: * Makes the screen more "paper-like", it's much easier on the eyes in a way that's hard to explain * I've already had an incident where the protector took a blow that would've likely damaged the screen itself otherwise. Had to replace the protector but that's a lot cheaper than the Deck. * Dead simple to install, I appreciate the guide frame Cons: * Like any matte protector, the screen will be slightly less crisp/vibrant, but the tradeoff is worth it for me ... show more

Excellent product, and easy to use. Alignment is easy with the guide, fits perfectly, and I don't have any bubbles. Touch screen function has not been reduced at all. I believe this will last a long time plus has extra screen. Feel much safer having it on my oled steam deck. Highly recommend

Really happy with this kit. The frame and other included items made it really easy to install and the screen protector looks great. Took me two tries because I had a speck of dust under the first attempt but that was my fault for not taking my time. While it does reduce the glare it does it in a way that ALL the screen has a little bit of glare and not just one spot. this DOES help in display visibility but has a tradeoff of full screen minor glare. my problem with it is that it is advertised as crystal clear; the image is noticeably blurry, i kept blinking to clear my eyes from this "fog" . Only get it if you really don't mind a noticeable image quality reduction and you HAVE to have glare reduction ( i would call it glare distribution since it is still there just splattered all over the screen) ... show more
