  • great display if you figure out how to set it up
Size: 15 inch
I bought this screen after some research because our old screen had died. What I liked: - the clarity of the pictures is great. I have seen no reason to fiddle with the display setting for color or brightness. - the display software is very good at reducing the pictures to make them fit without changing the aspect ratio. * pictures that are 3x4 but larger are shrunk to fit * pictures that are too wide are shrunk with preservation of the aspect ratio and displayed with a black band above and below. * pictures that are too tall (like most cell phone pictures) are shrunk to fit again with preservation of the aspect ratio and displayed with a black band left and right. Neutral: - the software is not very good at enlarging pictures that are smaller than the screen size. The basic Microsoft picture editor does a much better job. But it means you have to do it yourself before loading them. - My 8000 pictures are all named with a date code followed by a sequential number. (They tell the story of the lives of my wife and I starting at my birth and are occasionally updated with the newest.) I had to make a few changes is the names because the order that windows lists them, it slightly different than the alphabetical order in the display software. example windows will list "Picture 4" before "Picture 100" because it understands 4 is less than 100. The display will show "picture 100" first because the 1 in 100 is less than 4. What I disliked - The manual is a disaster. What is available can barely be called a manual. No explanation other than a list of features * I want to set the display up in a very basic mode. No WiFi. When you start the display the first time, it want to connect to your WiFi. When you say that you don't want to, then it tells you basically to do it anyway with no option to pass this. I finally turned the power off and on and was able to continue without WiFi. * Don't like fancy transitions between pictures? No problem, but nowhere will you find the instruction that you can do this by turning off every single one of the dozen or so transition options that are all default turned on * Just want the pictures to display without interruption by the motion sensor or by the time of the day? No problem. If you are a bit computer savvy you will figure it out. Just don't expect it to be anywhere explained to you. - If somebody asks a question on-line, the answers are usually very cryptic. example: question: "I am trying to do this action and cannot figure it out. can it be done?" answer: "yes". with maybe a hint how to but no clear set of instructions ... show more

  • Great frame! Excellent Customer Service!
Size: 10 inch
I love the simplicity of this frame. Very easy to use. Has a motion sensor with adjustable times. It allows you to build photo albums which allows you to play individual albums or you can set it to play all your pictures randomly. I can’t say enough about their customer service! I emailed a question one evening and received an answer the next day. After two years of use, my picture frame quit working and they sent me a new one right away no questions asked. Talk about A+ service!! I highly recommend this company! ... show more

  • Great gift
Size: 10 inch
I received one as a gift 2 years ago and loved it. I decided to get one for my parents for their anniversary. Neither are on FB, so they can't see pictures my sister and I share. So now we don't have to clog up their inbox or texts; we just add to this instead. They love it. Absolutely great gift and you never have to add more memory or deal with memory sticks. The interface online is helpful too. ... show more

  • My second one
Size: 10 inch
We already had one for a couple years. Our preacher retired and was moving to another state. We bought him one and loaded it with pictures from his stay here. We can keep him and his wife updated by emailing photos to his pixstar. The display is great

PIX-STAR. IS. The BEST invention since the cell phone 📱. You can send/receive hundreds of photos from/to Family and Friends 😍 GET the 15 inch model for larger screen to view the photos. It costs only $60 more than the 10 inch screen. I got one for 3 relatives each who really love ❤️ the PIX-STAR. I have a Pix-Star too. • Impressive picture quality
Size: 15 inch
Even though it has low resolution, the picture quality is better than ones with 4x resolution. It's not all about the number of pixels apparently. Picture is bright and clear. Good LED tech. Transferring pics over is easy. Being able to link it to Google Pics is very convienient. Don't mind lack of touch screen. Easy to use. Remote control works fine. Motion detection was excellent and reliable. Saves alot of energy. ... show more
