This is a beautiful dog crate, We love the wood frame. This crate blends in as a furniture piece unlike regular metal crates that’s can be an eye sore. The only thing stopping me from giving it 5 stars is that it’s a tad smaller than what we expected for an XL dog crate, we bought it only to use for nights while we are potty training our new Great Pyrenees puppy so we should need it much when he is full grown but it may be a tight fit then preferred. I would not recommend for full grown XL dogs like Great Danes that tend to be taller. The side door is also smaller than expected. Should be fine for our growing g puppy for a while but not for long time use, medium sailed dogs would have plenty of room. Our 70lb Australian shepherd fits just fine in it. ... show more

We needed a crate with a solid top because our boxer dog loves to jump on top. This one was easy to build, looks good and is very solid. It is a little taller than I was expecting and the door rattles a little, but we are very satisfied with it.

The kennel is exactly as pictured. Make sure you get a dog bed for the bottom (a 36 in one fit perfectly inside of our kennel - we purchased large) our pup loves it (35 lb terrier mix) and has plenty of room to stretch out. I bought 2 of the crates size medium rustic and I’m thrilled with the product. Both were so easy to put together. All pieces were in each box. Sturdy and look great in my family room. I had purchased a similar crate from another company and returned it due to defective workmanship, holes did not line up and there was no workaround additional one door slide lock would not open no matter how much effort was used. Great size, easy to put together or take apart, and stylish! Glad I can put my plants and dog treats on top too! Going to buy a second one next month for my other baby. They are shiba inus(20-25 pounds) and I got the large since they spend a lot of time in their kennels.
