    • Not the beet wall mount
This wall mount is good. However, the brackets that attach to the tv are not tall enough to lower the TV’s a lot. So they are going to be mounted a little higher on bigger tv’s. It’s the only defect i see in the design. The value is good but not perfect l.

I've been looking for an easy way to mount an older flat screen TV just above my PC, as a occasional 3rd monitor, as well as just a mounted TV for my room. While this one did not fit my specific needs, it is a quality mount, as I used it in my den, and will be setting a TV in there shortly.     • Works pretty well
Just hung a 47" TV with this mount in my daughter's room. Installation went fairly well and it is working great. A few items to note: As another reviewer mentioned, the back plate that mounts to the wall is actually two pieces. The plastic that you see in the photos hides this junction where the two pieces meet. The two pieces are bolted together with two small bolts and nuts. Once it is put together, it is reasonable sturdy, but not nearly as sturdy as a one piece. Also, the nuts are very difficult to tighten due to the space requirements. The supplied wrench only allowed for a small fraction of a turn (if that). None of my personal wrenches or sockets would fit onto the nut due to space limitations. But I did get it tight and I believe it will be fine. This has a pretty standard design where the vertical members attach to the television and then slide down on the top of the back frame and then the bottom of the vertical members lock into place on the bottom side of the frame. To release, you have to pull down on both of the release strings at the same time and pull off the frame. This worked like it was supposed to. But I will point out that the loops on the strings hung too low for my setup. My TV was on the smaller side, but even if you adjusted the loops as small as possible, it still hung down a few inches below the TV. I ended up tying the loops together in the middle to get them out of the way, which works and still allows the release functionality. There might be a better way to shorten the loops, but make sure that the functionality of the release is still in place. Otherwise, I did not encounter any issues with this mount. Overall I am pleased with it and would recommend it for what it is (a low cost TV mount). ... show more

    • Holds my older 2012 LCD TV.
I was a bit skeptical when I took it out of the box but once it was fully assembled it turned out to be a sturdy little unit. It was reasonably priced for what you get and holds up to the weight of my older LCD TV. Comes with all the hardware required to install although I used my own to hang it on the wall.     • Decent TV mount for a mostly flush mount
Overall this works fine but my biggest critique is that even with the tilt, it's mostly a flush mount - so that makes it very trifficult to actually plug anything into the back of it. I also am considering swapping it out for an older mount that had the ability to pull the TV away from the wall a good six inches. There's so much more flexibility when you can do that movement. I'd also point out that this is the second mount I've seen with this design style where it comes with two mount sections of about a foot each - initially it looks like it gives you a bunch of options to span at least the 16" on center studs, with some extra room by that included cover to cross any empty space. Affordable price that reflects the flush mount and less flexibility. ... show more

Comes with everything you need, is quite sturdy if mounted right, and has a bit of adjustment to it. The adjustment is minimal, but that is to be expected of a mount that holds the tv this close to the wall, there simply isn't space behind the tv to angle it much. I like the pull tabs that let you get the tv off the wall easily, should you need to paint the room or whatever, as it releases nicely without dropping and yet is held strongly until you wish to take it down. ... show more
