Description

Our dog leash features 2 handles, one at the end of the leash at 6ft and another at 1ft from the clip. The long one is perfect for casual walks, extended sniffing and loose leash walking, the shorter one is great for busy sidewalks, bike paths and crowded areas that require that you have instant, up-close control of your dog. Can be used as a Training aid to control Dominance and Aggression. The leash has two fully-padded neoprene handles, which are much more comfortable than normal leash handles and will prevent redness, chafing, or blistering on your hands. The entire leash is stitched on both sides with reflective 2mm wide stitching to increase your visibility at night and for added safety for you and your dog.

I have purchased/used 3 different kinds of leashes over the last year for my 20 lb, 17 month old dog. He is small, but strong and still a bit wild on leash. I am 77 and have a lot of arthritis, so at times he is hard to keep under control. I love this leash for several reasons. Mostly the second hand loop is positioned perfectly for me to grab when we are out and around other people/dogs. The loop is 24 inches from the bottom (other leashes are 18 inches from the bottom)and since he is a shorter dog, it's positioned perfectly where I can grab it without stooping all the way down. I also like the material the leash is made out of, it has a little "give" to it if he starts to pull and I am not ready to move yet, it keeps me from getting pulled off balance. After losing two boxers we had gotten rid of all our leashes. Then we rescued another boxer who, like most boxers, likes to pull on the leash. I love this leash because it has a handle at the end and one much closer to the clasp for the collar - great for when you're getting out of the car or going out the door or even when in an area with other dogs or animals that will distract your dog. This is the third leash I've purchased. I purchased the first two in both blue and green for my standard poodle. He visits various businesses that allow dogs as part of his training. This leash allows for better control especially if there are crowds or distractions. I bought this third leash in pink for the French Bulldog I took in who is reactive to people and other dogs. Again, this provides more control and coupled with a no-pull harness has proven to be the perfect combo for enjoyable walks. I find these leashes to be a great value.
