Got myself in the finger one time and ordered this the same day. Fingers have been drill bit free since. 😅 It held my resin pieces okay but I ended up cutting small pieces of silicone to place on the sides to keep it from crushing or damaging my pieces when in the vice. I love it. Manual drill that comes with it is great for really thin pieces I can't use the electric drill on and need to take really slowly to keep from going through the sides. I haven't used the keychains since I have different one I use for my orders but the quality of them seems to be good. ... show more

This set of tools worked out perfectly for small projects like creating keychains using Doorables. This kit definitely includes more tools than I needed, but the smallest drill bit worked out great along with the vise. I am sure you could use the other tools to create jewelry just fine but creating keychains from resin toys worked out perfectly for me. Easy to use on fine small projects

The pin drill is okay. Out of the box, the back cap is crunchy and doesn't turn smooth. I added a few drops of lightweight oil and now it spins well enough to use. The little vice works as well as can be expected for a little plastic vice, but it doesn't turn smooth either and needs some muscle on it. My biggest problem with the set is the bits. I needed the smallest bit for the models I'm working on and it barely made it through the plastic. Tonight after using it to deepen some existing dimples in plastic I realized it wasn't cutting, it was just pushing the plastic and breaking off tiny pieces. Looking at the bit under a magnifying glass I could see that the first half centimeter or so of the bit was half round and half flat with no cutting surface. So, now I'm ordering new bits to replace what it came with. ... show more

    • Super cheap drill set
Only the keychain parts are worth the money. Everything else is pretty sub par. The vice could easily be 3d printed myself. The drill tool is pretty cheap, and the bits are already breaking and bending with little to no force.
