At first I was disappointed that the tool is so basic- I had hoped it was electric.....( my assumption- never advertised!). There are no actual intructions- just a QR code asking for my email and other ( no thx). I you- tubed a few videos and yes- it is as basic and works as great as it can be. You turn the body of the drill with 2 fingers and it does an amazing job! Quick and easy. Just be careful to use the drill straight on without much force and have it not too long. Works as advertised. The bits a very sharp and I’ve only used this with wood. It’s precise. And as long as you put pressure on the top and gently rotate the body, it quite surprising how fast it drills. The quality of the tool is good. The feel solid. Including the chuck gripping the bits. There's no jack screw, or anything to make it spin with pressure. You hold the swivel top to the palm of your hand and simply torn the bit rapidly with thumb and finger. Surprised by the speed through very hard wood! There are likely versions of this with manual assist through pressure, but the simplicity of this one is amazing. Bought this to drill soft plastic pieces for better fitment. Using the included bits the chuck slips so easily no amount to tightening could stop the drill bits from slipping in the chuck.
