We have an 8 week old pup and thought we'd give him a little more room in this playpen than in his hard side kennel. In general this playpen does what it's designed for pretty well. It folds and unfolds very easily, is lightweight and much easier to transport than a metal wire kennel or one of the tote crates. However it truly has to be used as just a playpen, meaning the zippered door left open and rolled up. After just a few hours over a couple days our pup clawed holes through the thicker fabric advertised as 600D quality. When we leave it open for him to come and go it's just fine, but otherwise it won't hold up to a dog that wants to get out. Another thing to watch out for is while this playpen is easy to setup, it's also easy to collapse. Our pup had one side folded in on himself and the only thing that prevented the other sides from folding in was the large padded bed we had in the bottom of the playpen. Overall a good value for a portable, supervised play space, but not a good substitute for a longer-stay kennel. ... show more

Product is as described. Not sure it would serve my purpose I bought the used model which appeared new but no original box. I have a 5-lbs chihuahua that I needed to confine to his bed at night. Kept wanting in bed with me. I was skeptical when it arrived in a small nylon bag but Wow, it is perfect for my needs. Light weight, compact, good quality, good ventilation, has a zip ventilated top which I won't use but would be good for shade outside. See pics. I really like the look of this playpen and the convenience of it being portable and easy to handle however my poor little puppy has been traumatized. He's a puppy so he's going to be active, jumping, etc. The entire thing capsized, collapsed and scared him so much he won't go near it!!!!! Disappointed even though I did read reviews prior and read about it collapsing. My puppy is 7 lbs so I didn't think he would be able to make that happen......he did almost immediately after he was put inside of it. ... show more

I don’t usually leave reviews but had to for this. My puppy loves it! Not only that but it is perfect for home and for traveling with me to the office. It’s so easy to set up, put back in the bag, and spot clean if needed. Seems durable so far so it’s been money well spent. My only complaint is that the elastic band to keep it folded up is in the front by the zipper door…just kind of asking to be chewed on. But would absolutely buy again ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I rescued two kittens and bought a smaller octagonal playpen for them, but as they got older and became more active I felt the two of them needed a bigger play space. I got the Large size and it is indeed large, it folds open and comes with 8 plastic rods to hold it up. It’s a pretty great play pen so far in terms of quality, stability, the mess, the zippers, everything… except for the rods. The rods are plastic so I’m a little anxious about my kittens once they grow up since one of them does like to climb. It’s probably just overthinking but I’d rather be safe than worried. The biggest complaint I have is the rods are slightly too big for the play pen. You insert the rods on the outside in a Velcro pouch in order to support the pen. However, the length of the play pen is just a tad shy of being a perfect snug fit. It really does feel like I might rip the pouch or the roof/floor of it when I was setting it up. Even now that it is set up I’m worried if I don’t handle it carefully enough it’ll tear. Realistically I’m sure it’ll be fine but I’m just a concerned cat owner. TL;DR The large play pen is amazing for my two kittens, but the rods that support it are made of plastic and are a bit long. 4.5/5 ... show more
