This was my first time tonight and it was really good! There’s no place around here to get decent pizza so this is a great find. But the bottom temperature on 700° in the top one on 600°, if you don’t, it cooks too fast. Makes a very crispy crust, which is awesome. Love this product! Great price, easy to use and store, easy to clean and delicious pizza. The 10” pizza is considered a personal pizza, too big for me most of the time. Only takes about 5 or so minutes to cook pizza, so they be churned out quickly. We allow everyone to make their own. Two things to remember/ fork the dough before topping and turn the pizza 180 degrees about half way through cooking so it does not burn. ... show more

I was a bit sceptical about this "pizza oven", but ordered it anyway. I wil say that overall I am pretty impressed..it is super easy to use and the pizza comes out wonderful. It does cook a 10 inch pizza in about 6 minutes. The first one I made was an onion/bacon combo for my husband with store-bought pizza dough...the cheese burned a bit on top, but otherwise he thought it tasted great. The second one I made was a tomato/fresh mozzarella/arugula one for myself. I kept a close eye on the cooking for this one, and it turned out perfect. I then proceeded to make a double batch of my homemade sourdough pizza dough with fresh milled flour. After the dough fermented overnight, I made another pizza...this one was pepperoni, mushroom, spinach and cheese and it came out fabulous...this crust rises really well and is thicker on the edges. It cooked up extremely well in the pizza oven and so quickly. I am sold! If you have more than two people you are making pizza for, it works very well for everyone's tastes. You can have 4 specialty pizzas ready in less time than it would take to make just one in the oven. The flavor possibilities are endless.....And the cleanup is a breeze. You just scrape the pizza stone after it cools. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because it really does take up extra space for storing. We have a small kitchen and space is limited, so I just put it back into the box and stored it on a shelf in our garage till I will use it again. It is a minor inconvenience to unbox it each time, but the finished pizzas are definitely worth it in the long run. Recommended! Side note: I have been a Vine member for almost a year and I give totally honest reviews. To earn 5 stars, the products I review have to be really well made, perform extremely well, and have a decent price point. This is a really great pizza oven. It heats up fast and cooks fast. You get a direction book and recipe book that includes pizza dough in measurements that work perfectly for the size crust you want for the perfect fit. I have used my own dough, refrigerated dough, and Mamma Mia crusts. They have all worked great, but the premade crusts are the easiest because they are less likely to stick. I have tried about 18 different toppings and have found that herbs like basil are more likely to get a bit singed by the heat, It takes a bit of trial and error to find the way that you personally like your crust. Even though this is meant to give a crunchy crust, I actually don't like that. What works best for me is to heat the top burner to 800 degrees and the bottom burner to 700 degrees. Once it is preheated, I turn the bottom burner down to 400 degrees and the top to 700 degrees to get a good full cook on all of the cheese, sauce, and ingredients while still maintaining a fully cooked but softer crust. I cook for around 5-6 minutes, and it is perfect. Cleaning the stone is honestly the worst part of the process. The provided scraper works great to get any crust bits that stick, which seems to happen at least a tiny bit. Once cool, you can wipe down with a damp cloth. It will become seasoned, which means it will never be perfectly clean again. Think about it like a cast iron pan. The bottom burners and the stone take a VERY long time to cook because of the heat trapped by the stone, so once you are done, move the stone a bit to allow air to seep into the bottom burners, and it will cool about 3 times faster. When the instructions tell you to use oven mitts, please listen; this baby is HOT, and any stone movement until 100% cool should be done with oven mitts as well. The wooden pizza peels are great! I just assemble the pizza on top of them and then slide it onto the stone before closing the oven. They are also useful for turning the pizza if you are worried about it sticking and they remove the pizza once it is done. After cooking, it is best to put the pizza on a cutting board and then cut it. The only thing missing is a cook timer, but that's not a big deal since you kind of want to cook by the view window anyway. I have made over 30 pizzas on this with excellent results. The short cook time is amazing, and it is great for teenage boy slumber parties with those insane appetites and short patience. I highly recommend this pizza oven. 5 STars ... show more
