  • Pretty and functional
Size: Pack of 2
Just bought two more. The two we bought a year ago are still going strong even after being left out all winter. Easy to assemble and install. Looks nice, not cheap. Pretty flame like light and we think the mosquito repellent works.

  • Great looking and works great too!
Size: Pack of 2
We bought 6 of these for our large patio area in Dallas area, which is unusable in the summer due to mosquitos unless we spray. Well, putting six of these babies around our pool and we haven’t seen mosquitos all summer long! Well worth the price. Super easy to install and maintain since they’re solar powered - just drive them into the ground, wait a day for them to charge, push the button to turn them on, and you’re good to go. Highly recommended and we’ll be buying some more for the front! ... show more

  • So awesome it got stolen!
Size: Pack of 1
This is a really beautiful solar power flickering torch. It does not really seem to kill bugs and I don’t even care. It’s so pretty!! I got the first one at a store. It rode around in the trunk of my car for months and I nearly gave it away as a gift, then I finally got it out and was so excited about how it flickers and really looks like a flame!! Then I took it on a camping trip. I was feeling pretty proud of my setup and our awesome lights and this awesome torch. The trashy ppl next to us packed up and took off while we were walking the dogs and my torch was GONE! I hope it breaks and they don’t get to enjoy it. I’m sure karma will pay them back in due time. So I then had to replace it and found the exact same item here on Amazon. I’m once again enjoying the charming flicker. Moral of the story- it’s great, and you’ll enjoy it, but watch out for trashy characters lurking to swipe it. Peace out ✌🏼 ... show more

  • Flimsy and no bugs
Size: Pack of 2
I was looking for a solar insect zapper. This product claims to be a solar insect killer torch, so I thought it might be a good deal with a little ambiance-adding feature (the torch). Right off the bat I was disappointed in the flimsy plastic poles that move with the slightest breeze. They also do not stay straight no matter how straight you sink the first section into the ground. That should have been my first clue to return them before the return date passed! I thought they did look nice at night as the "torch" lit up at night. I was noticing that when I would sit on the patio at night that I was still hearing that very familiar buzzing sound in my ears. I figured they were flying by my ears on the way to getting zapped. I decided to check the tray to see if it needed to be emptied after a few months of use. Upon removing the tray I discovered that either these are self-cleaning bug zappers, or they hadn't killed even ONE bug. I believe the latter to be true. I would recommend to anyone looking at this product to limit yourselves to looking only. The torch part works well, but all the rest is a waste of money. ... show more

  • Nice lamp, not great zapper
Size: Pack of 1
The torch looks realistic and pretty to look at when it comes on at night. The solar panel charge lasts much of the night. I really like that no wiring is needed and it can be placed anywhere. The pole is flimsy and the bottom prong can break in strong wind, but it also comes with a table-top mount and that is more useful. As a bug zapper it is not great. It does work, but only until it has enough bugs to short-out the circuit and you don't really know when that happened without close inspection. The grid has to be cleaned to restore service and that requires lots of brushing or compressed air. Can of air works well, but it gets costly. The grid voltage is relatively low for a bug zapper and does not cause a loud popping sound when bugs get zapped. The bug tray is too small and also difficult to pull out. So, not great as a bug zapper but a really nice torch lamp. Kind of expensive only as a lamp, though. Update: Stopped working completely after a couple of months. Apparently the switch is not weatherproof. Started working again after replacing the switch with a better one. ... show more

  • I don't know how well it kills, but it is really pretty and handles salt air
Size: Pack of 2
I see residue when pulling out the tray, but I don't know if it is actually getting mosquitos or just small moths, but for the price, I would use it for the lighting alone. I have had this for over 3 months in a salt air environment. I do not shelter it or take it in for rain or "normal" wind, and they are functioning well still. I had one late night where I thought I was going to have to say differently because the light was acting "weird" and finally stopped working around midnight even when I alternated on/off. But I had forgotten that it had been a particularly dark and stormy week, and the next evening after recharging it was back to it's happy glow. The UV light blends nicely with the flame effect to give it the "gas lit" torch look. ... show more

  • Yup, they do kill mosquitoes.
Size: Pack of 2
The media could not be loaded. In the reviews, some were not sure how well these killed mosquitoes or said they did not work as well as they wished. I have 4 of them and there are dead mosquitoes in all of them right now. I checked earlier before I turned them on and there were none. The mosquitoes get shocked and stuck to the metal grate. I kept checking the tray were they are expected to fall and it was always empty. I uploaded a video of the 7 dead mosquitoes. I had them about 5 feet apart from each other but in the video I put them all side by side to make it easier to film. I’m gonna get 4 more. The price is high but it is worth it since they look nice and kill mosquitoes. I have them in table tops so I can’t speak to how sturdy the polls are but it’s nice they come with them and you have options. ... show more

  • Beautiful display and works well.
Size: Pack of 2
Easy assembly and worked outside the box. Neighbors really have complimented on how well they look. Now when I turn the corner I can see my house. The only thing I have to make sure people are aware that the poles are not very strong and you can easily break them. Handle with care.
