  • Easy learning support
This is an easy to use visual aid for beginner musicians to aid them in learning which notes correspond with which piano keys and what that note looks like on a music staff. Makes learning to read music simple and intuitive.

  • A good amount of info with this package to help learn the piano
I have a daughter whom I'd like to learn piano. She's still a little young and her fingers are a little too small to really take it up, but I'm introducing her a little at a time. These stickers are good. They're made out of plastic. This means when you want to peel them off they aren't going to rip like paper stickers. Obviously, I just put them on my keyboard and don't plan on taking them off soon. BUT, I did put an extra sticker on a key just to see how it would peel off. It came off easily. It's a little soon to predict how well the stickers will stay on after playing on them. I will update the review if there are any issues. But they are very thin, and unobtrusive. The stickers for the white keys are color coded for each note. When applying the stickers you can start with middle C and work your way up the keys, then work your way down the keys. That helps on a keyboard that doesn't have 88 keys. On a real piano you can probably just start at the bottom and work your way up. Also included are stickers for the black keys which have a black background and white lettering. Each sticker indicates both the sharp and flat notes that each key is. For example there is a sticker that says F# and G♭. The stickers all show where on the clef that particular note is depending on octave. This is helpful if you're trying to learn to read music as you play. You also get a laminated sheet that shows how to play four chords in varying keys. It has major, minor, dominant 7th and minor 7th for each of the following keys: A,B, C, D, E, F, G, A♭, B♭, D♭, E♭, G♭. Easily enough to learn to play along with your favorite popular songs. ... show more

  • Helpful and accurate, good quality, and look a bit childish
These stickers are pretty cool, and seem like they'll be a huge help to me until I'm comfortable with reading music better. Once I know my way around the keyboard better, it looks like I'll be able to easily remove the stickers too (without nasty residue)! My only preference issue would be that I don't like the childish color-coding of the note names at the top of each sticker. Black would look much more uniform and would keep my keyboard from now looking like a preschool toy. I guess that's just a me problem, as an adult that's learning later in life. Not a huge deal, but a little embarrassing. The only 2 drawbacks that aren't preferential are 1.) I wish the number coding was listed off the sticker and not directly on each sticker itself. 2.) The black key stickers are ever-so slightly too large for the width of my 61 key midi keyboard's keys. My black keys have about 9mm of flat-top width, and these stickers are nearly impossible to fit cleanly within that area. It took about 20 minutes to attach all the 61 stickers I needed in a reasonably uniform and neat manner. I'm glad I have these on now, and I look forward to learning with them. I forecast that the wear-and-tear of playing should allow the stickers to stay on long enough for me to learn over the next year or two. ... show more

  • Clever tool for beginners!
My wife and I played piano in our younger years and we always encouraged our kids to give it a try. They never really showed interest until my youngest turned 19 - now he wants to play! So, I decided to look online for some basic help to get him started and came across these cards and stickers. First of all, these are perfect for what we need. I really didn’t even know something like this existed, but it’s an extremely clever method to show students exactly where they need to play. As you can see in the pictures, there’s a sticker for every key. They apply very easily and can peel away when it’s time. The laminated chord chart card is also a really nice reference tool for helping to learn chords. This whole package really is a perfect solution in helping beginners get started. I highly recommend this for anyone looking to give the piano a try, it’s a phenomenal tool for beginners to learn the basics in a very hands-on way. ... show more

  • Helps while learning
I ordered these Piano Keyboard Stickers with Piano Chord Chart,to help while I am learning the keyboard. I took piano lessons when I was a little kid and unfortunately not much came back to me. I placed these removable stickers on the keys. I have not done the "black" keys yet since I've only learned one chord so far. I am not sure about the laminated sheet yet. The A minor is not what I learned so I'm not sure if it's who's teaching me or if the form is incorrect. That's why I only gave it 4 stars. I read other review for other types of charts that lay over the keys and people said they got in the way. I thought these would feel funny but they are pretty seamless so you can't even tell they are on the keys. ... show more

  • Cool tool to help learn chords
Full transparency, I purchased this for a mini keyboard and hadn't counted my keys before hand. It worked for the chords once I figured out the middle C and worked backwards and forwards. But, due to my mini keyboard's size, the stickers don't work well in the size department. Let this be fair warning to those of you looking to do the same thing I did -- this may not be the sticker set for you! However, I couldn't even find a 44 key sticker pack or one specifically for a mini keyboard, so this may be all we have. For thewhite keys, I was able to just cut them shorter. For the black keys, the stickers are too wide, but I was not going to attempt to cut all of them down to size. For now, this works for my purpose of helping my LO learn music notes and chords. The bonus chord chart should help and I might even learn a little something myself. Good luck to all the learners out there, this would be a great tool for a full sized keyboard or piano, no doubt! ... show more
