So I’ve tried the medela and the lansinoh and the avent hand pump and I really wanted to love this one because my daughter only takes the phillips avent bottles. I gave them a 4 star review because I don’t like how my nipple insert won’t stay in it and I don’t like how it’s all one part I wish the flange was bigger because I feel like my boob is just falling out of the flange and the suction isn’t as good as the medela I would recommend the medela over this pump. But this pump is definitely the best quality and the most comfortable pump. I’m gonna keep it and use it as a secondary. ... show more

I’ve been using the Medela electric hands free pump, Haakah and medela hand express pump. This pump empties me and I was finally able to increase my production. My little one has a hard time latching staying awake and had a hard time emptying my breast causing me to have a low production. This is my go to now. I might purchase more for over night. I find I still have to use my hand for the electric pump because I have to squeeze my breast. With the manual I can squeeze and suction my breast just right to get the flow going. So relieved to finally have a pump that doesn't hurt! I have tig ol bitties. Like it takes 3 hands to even cover one of them. Pumping has not been easy for me at all. I really wanted a good pump with a soft flange that didn't leave rings on my breasts and didn't make my nipples raw. I thought when I bought this one that I would at least have to find another bigger flange since I'm so big, but thankfully this one is so comfortable! The flange is soft, the pump doesn't rip at my nipple, I love the fact that the milk goes straight in to the bottle, and every part of the pump is cleanable. ... show more

This pump is great! I was worried the padded flange would be too large as I typically need a 19-21mm flange but I have never had even the slightest discomfort with this. It is simple to clean and assemble. I also find it to be much more efficient than my electric pump. The bottle that came with this pump grew mold. I used the pump and really like it especially when I am on the go with baby. I have not even washed the bottle yet and there was mold growing all over the bottle.

This is a good pump to store in your diaper bag for “just in case” purposes. Very high quality and worth it. I used it a ton during the first few weeks of breastfeeding as it helped my milk come in.
