I absolutely love this product! It's definitely bigger than I thought but that's okay, it fits perfectly where it's going. I wish I took a before photo of the bathroom but we recently got two kittens and they would make a complete mess! This product is perfect for keeping all the litter in one area AND excellent at keeping them from carrying the litter all through the house from their feet because of the grill on top. From the time I opened the box, to being completely assembled and full of litter took all of 2 minutes and it's very sturdy! I did not realize the door was only meant to go in and the cat leave through the top.. so i did not put the bottom of it inside before putting the pegs into the holes , i tried to remove it to fix it and the peg broke off. So dont do that and it will probably be better

I love the concept, and it’s put together fairly easily. My main critique is it has open ventilation surfacing the entire top section of it, instead of the airflow just being the square opening. Makes it harder to control the filtration of odors.

it’s cute and works well. my cats both use it and like it. however, my cat with only one eye was confused by the door and hole situation, so I had to remove the door. poor dude got stuck in there and wouldn’t jump out. beware if you have a silly (and just a lil dumb) cat with only one eye.

I love it for the look and that it forces my cat to jump on the top. However, litter DOES get behind and underneath. So I have to move both of them to clean up real well. A little pee gets on the sides too, so that sucks. Cute though

    • My Cat Couldn't Figure Out How To Open The Door

Believe me, I tried. She has 2 litter boxes, and I just replaced her older one with this litter box & she just would not open the door. I tried showing her how to push the door open multiple times a day for over a week & she just refused to use it with the door on it.I even tried to get her to enter through the top but nope. Didn’t use it once for a whole week, only used her other box. Today I finally gave up and took the door off of it and she used it right away, but she didn't use the top exit and of course kicked litter everywhere lol. The entire reason I bought this litter box was for litter tracking, and without the door theres nothing preventing her from kicking the litter out. Reading other reviews this doesn't seem to be an issue for most cats but I figured I should write a review for those of us who have smooth brained kitties lol- if you think your cat may not be able to figure out how to push open the door I would try a different litter box. Giving it 3 stars because its still a super cute litter box and even though my cat wont use it with the door on it, it wasn’t a total waste as shes able to use it now fine without the door, i just have to sweep more often. It’s also easy to slide the box out to clean it and I was able to get a litter liner on it so thats a plus for me too. ... show more

Our cat makes a mess w the litter. This style of litter box keeps the litter contained. Works great. Clean up isnt perfect but its better than the other boxes we have tried.
