With 1 exception, this tree assembled easier than I'd thought, is tall with solid platforms and my cats love it. During assembly I found 1 metal screw was manufactured wrong and would not insert regardless of where I tried it. I contacted the seller, after some back & forth they shipped me 1 replacement screw. It had to come from off-shore so took awhile to reach me, but when it did it worked and Ii was finally able to complete the tree. I needed a tree that could beat the weight of this 14 lb stud and I've never been happier with a cat tree in all of my purchases. Very easy to build, the instructions were clear, seems like an easy clean, and is very stable for cats at least 15 pounds!     • I'm very surprised and impressed
When I bought this cat tree a month ago I was concerned that it would be unstable and only sized for kittens but I was pleasantly surprised. Although it does wobble when jumped on at full speed, it hasn't fallen over and putting it next to a wall is an easy fix for that. I wish it was a little bigger but my 10 month old kitten loves sleeping in the crows nest and the hammock and my 2 yr old, 11 lb male cat loves the box, although it is a bit too small for him. His legs or his head will stick out although that doesn't seem to bother him. He hasn't yet tried the crows nest but it does have two support poles, which is critical. Setup is extremely easy if you follow the pictures exactly. I didn't and that's why I had to start over twice. But it still only took me about 1.5 hours of setup time even with the restarts. It ended up being kind of fun. A few cons: the fabric feels extremely thin and I thought there is no way this will stand up to cat claws but it's still holding up a month in. It does have little fuzzies that shed from it but there seem to be fewer now than when I first set it up. The ball on a string was gone in less than 2 days. My kitten put her full weight on it and pulled the cord out of the ball. But they still play with the string. I wish there was another box or feature on the bottom shelf as it is a bit of wasted space that they don't play on. Assuming this tree lasts for a reasonable amount of time, I would purchase this again. They both love it and are all over it daily. ... show more

This is a great tree and it's really well made and looks very comfortable for cats. However once I built it and put my cat on top she had trouble getting off.. she's a 7-year-old somewhat pudgy.. and the top platform hangs over the next level and doesn't allow enough room for them to get down. My beautiful baby almost fell straight down. Picture stepping down from a lifted truck with no nerf bars to step down on.. The photo that is attached to this review shows the perspective looking straight down from the top so you can see how steep the drop is... I was able to drill my own holes and push the top platform back a little bit and still brace the next level. Other than that it's a great product but you should really reconsider if you have a full grown cat. My cat has already used the hammock quite a bit and loves to sit on the top... ... show more

The quality is good and it was easy to put together, but the top bed is uneven. I tightened everything to make sure that wasn’t the issue but there was about an inch off and caused the bed to slope a lot.     • Perfect smaller cat tree!
My Kotoha has a large cat tree in our TV room, but since we adopted a new dog she has been staying in our bedroom a lot. I bought this cat tree for her to use in the bedroom and she loves it! The scratching posts do have some cloth at top and bottom, and that is getting shredded. I would prefer the rope covering the entire post, but I can rewrap easily enough when they get too worn. It is not heavy, and can tip if not anchored - especially if you have a big cat or more than one cat on it at one time. It comes with an anchor strap and I highly recommend you use that.
