We were delighted to find this effective and pleasantly smelling product. There was no chemical/medicine smell like shampoos before. The coat is very soft and clean-smelling. Will buy again

I expected it to alleviate my dog's itching and I'm not sure it's sorted the problem entirely (he's due for another check up lol) but it's definitely reduced how much he itches. I have a dog that is sweet, but old that an ex friend dumped on me because she couldn't deal with the dog anymore and here I am stuck with this Great Pyrenees that my kids fell in love with and I was so mad at her for dumping this gross, half dead dog on me and my family... And to make matters worse, the dog had some type of skin condition that she said was fine and under control- welp it wasn't and whatever it was my 1yr old work dog/family pet puppy caught it. 🤬 I had been looking for ways to help my dog feel better cuz his skin and fur were starting to get crusty. This shampoo is REALLY GOOD! I am impressed. I FINALLY got the gross GP in the bath. He weighs over 100lbs and shakes uncontrollably whenever I try to bathe him. I FINALLY bathed him with this stuff and his crusty gross scabs just started coming off in my hands as I was washing him and nothing got that stuff off before. As a matter of fact, I gave up washing him because he was gross and freaked out every time I tried to bathe him, but he was just too smelly so I HAD To! I can't believe how much it's made a difference. He's not going on his hot spots as much now which is great. It smells decent. It leaves their coat like shockingly soft & sparkly. My dogs are white/tan merle and it's hard to get them to look not dirty. Cuz the merle color is so similar to what fur looks like when it's dirty - Anyway- in conclusion, I'm not sure it's THE BEST anti itch shampoo, but it is fantastic for healing their funky skin stuff! ... show more

Scent: Soothing Hot Spot Spray
I got a pair or bonded sister rescue kittens who came with some mysteries I'd never encountered before. The worst problem was the incessant scratching. Neither of them had good coats and one was particularly bad. She was even so uncomfortable that she was pulling her hair out. The vet hadn't seen any mites or fleas, nothing that would be causing the itching, but he prescribed some medicine to combat that and/or worms. He hadn't found any sign of those either. I think it was just an expensive shot in the dark. Of course everything prescribed did no good at all. It was driving all three of us, two cats and me, crazy, so I decided to treat it as best I could. After reading the reviews on this product, I quickly ordered it. When it came I doused them both. They didn't mind the product, but they had less than favorable reviews on the delivery method! A spray bottle was NOT something either one would tolerate. The next time I put it on them, I dampened a couple cotton balls and rubbed the product on. That they accepted. It still didn't get rave reviews, but it was doable. Between the Pet Honesty Restore and Soothe on the outside and a healthy dose of Wild Alaskan Salmon Oil on the inside they were finally able to quit the scratching. What a relief! Now their coats are glorious and we have a peaceful little world. The cats are playing and sleeping like healthy, normal felines. They have time to get into mischief and do something besides being consumed by scratching. Thank you for making a product that helped them come around. The salmon oil may have eventually solved the problem, but your product made them comfortable enough to let the salmon oil work. Bless You! ... show more

My poor dog was licking himself to raw skin. I talked to the Vet Tech and she prescribed this and one other product. I simply made sudsy water, washed his paws as that was the major problem area. I did do an "undercarriage wash" since I was there. I had to do this less than ten times and he no longer licks his paws for hours on end. This product works. ... show more

I am a mom of not one but three German Shepherds and one of my babies had this rash around his thighs and let me tell you I came on this app with the quickness to find some kind of relief because my baby was not acting the same so I knew he was supper uncomfortable. I came across this product gave my baby a bath and let me tell you the very next day you can see the rash going away. My baby is back to normal. The shampoo smells amazing, it lathers great, and it does what it says it does. With all that being said I with definitely be buying this again in the near future ... show more

I have mixed feelings about this shampoo. I do not like to leave bad reviews. I gave this 3 stars because I only used it once. It might be coincidence, not sure. My dog was scratching often so I decided to give this a try and sadly it seemed to make it much worse. We had to go to the emergency room. After the emergency room, we were told to use Benadryl and bathe him about 2x/week to try to rinse off whatever product was left on his skin of what we think irritated him and also to help clean off any environmental stuff that could be contributing, we also did oatmeal baths. Maybe this will work for other dogs. My dog is a large mud, 64 lbs. We switched to a fragrance-free hypoallergenic shampoo and allergy supplement for spring and summer only just in case, and he is doing great now, we no longer need Benadryl. ... show more
