My previous bed like this was from Aldi. We've had it since last June when I got my puppy. She threw up on it last week so I can't wash it until warm weather (outside), So I ordered this one. Same bed, only thing diff is a square faux leather tag on top. Since my dog rips eyes, noses, tags etc off toys I knew this would be problematic. And it was. 12 hrs later the tag was ripped out and left a big hole. Right now it's upside down and I have to watch her from making it worse. Production folks..LEAVE OFF THE SQUARE NAME TAG!!!!! Great inexpensive pet bed! I have a 7 month old choc lab, who has already eaten 5 beds. He has ripped the previous beds open in about 2 days. This is his sixth bed, and we are a little over one week in, and I think I finally have a bed he can't tear open. What's great about this bed is that it doesn't have the flimsy, mesh- like bottom most others I tried had. That is my pup's "easy access point" for ripping them apart. This one has the same durable material on both sides. Seams seem to be strong as well. Just make sure to cut the tags off before giving to your dog! I did have a similar bed before, one I grabbed from Walmart, and he ripped it open by biting at the tags. There is a raised logo patch on one side, I'm waiting to see if that might be an entry point for him, but I try to put that side to the floor, and so far, he's left it alone when I've seen him flip the bed over. In conclusion, this time, either he's getting old enough to leave the bed alone, or it's not easy to get into. I did tell him this is the last time I was replacing his bed, and if he eats it, then he's sleeping on the floor... maybe he understands? I ordered the Large (in chocolate, because that color was the cheapest) for $32.00. My 7 month lab fits perfectly. He's about 60lbs. So far, it's money well spent. ... show more

Got this as an outdoor bed. It seemed good at first but was easily destroyed by my dog within two weeks. One day he just decided he didn’t want it and the next thing I knew my entire backyard was covered in stuffing. Before getting destroyed the bed got gross pretty fast and didn’t seem durable enough to put in the wash. I guess if you have a washer with no agitator it could possibly do fine? But in all honesty I never got the chance to really put it to the test with my washer (that has an agitator) because of how fast it was torn apart. It was probably the fact that it has the brand’s tag sewn on top. My dog loves to rip off any and every tag (and this isn’t something you can just cut off with scissors as it’s like a patch with a logo on the bed). Once that patch was off, there were some small rips in the bed and after that it was all down hill. May have been more durable if it wasn’t for that logo patch on top. If your dog isn’t a big chewer and you have a good washer then I think this would be a fine bed. However it did get water stains fairly easily when it rained while I was at work. Didn’t read the instructions on whether or not you could put it in the dryer. So that’s also something to keep in mind ... show more

We originally bought this for our medium-sized dog who had stomach surgery, and we didn't want her laying out in our unfinished backyard collecting dirt and bacteria in the incision area once she was off meds. Unfortunately, this dog and our smaller one only seem to lay on it when we invite them for pets near the patio dining set. They would much prefer lay on the cot itself than this on top of it. I think it moving around when on the cot kind of freaks them out or something. Oh well. We tried and probably should have returned it immediately. Now, there seems to be a scrape mark on one side that seems to have thinned the material. I'm not sure if was just from our bigger dog's claws or what. ... show more
