I got this because we had just gotten a pair of 8 week old kittens. We figured they could grow and use the higher levels and if it only lasted a year, fine. Instead, within 2 weeks they were in the hammock, using the scratching posts as climbers and had already pulled down the dangling ball. Somehow they had untied the knot holding the ball to the ring on the underside of the platform. Everytime we tied it back on, they got it untied again. As they got bigger, one took the hammock and the other preferred the higher flat platform They are still using it as a platform to try to ambush and attack their sibling. They day nap there too. It's still rock steady, and none of the bolts have even started to work loose. This is a better item than I was expecting for the price. Keep up the good work, Pesofer! ... show more

If you are looking for something that is not too tall but still provides a convenient scratching post and a place for you kitty to perch, I would recommend this one. The assembly was really easy and the only reason why I am not giving this cat tree 5 stars is that the base is two pieces which compromises some of the tree's stability. But my kitty has yet to knock it over and she perches/sleeps on it all the time. The high edges around the bed also still allow her to knead before she settles. She loves this cat tree. ... show more

So, this is mainly my fault for not reading the description and for having cat body dysmorphia but this is perfect for smaller cats/kittens. One of our cats is a thicc girl and while the cat tree is study, its just size wise too small for her. It doesn't stop her from trying to enjoy it though lol. As a product, it was super easy to assemble, feels sturdy and feels like it will make it for a couple of years, depending on your cat. My cat loved the first time that saw it. She love the top part and the little "house" at the bottom, didn't care much for the middle part, she never uses that one. Is good for small places since doesn't occupy much space. The quality is not the worst but also not the best, the top part is a little wobbly so it needs to be close to a wall to stabilize. The base is separated so that affects the stability, it would be better if it had something to attach them under. The design of the scratching poles is not the best, the "fluffy" part of the larger scratching pole is already detaching because the cat do her nails in there, it should be better if the cord were from top to bottom. ... show more

You have to put it together but it's pretty easy and it's great after you get it built! Would buy again!! Fits a medium sized cat if you have a chubby 20lbs plus might not work.

Our cat loves this little cat tree. He plays in and around the open "house" at the bottom, and sleeps in the hammock or the top shelf. Since the tree is very light, he has fallen out of the top shelf, tipping the whole thing over (when he was enjoying catnip.)

I bought this for my two Bengal mix kittens and my 10 yr old cat. It's great. Assembly was quick and easy, it took my husband all of 20min to put together with letting the kids "help". Sturdy and is handling our brood of pets as well as our kids pulling on it. The only disappointment is the hanging toys pop right off. A little quirk that I dislike is the two pieces at the bottom don't connect to each other in any way. Doesn't really impact much as of yet, but bothers me. Otherwise great purchase. ... show more

I love this cat tree I’ve had it for a while. The only problem I would say is somehow it gets turned around and parts get loosened up but all you have to do is tighten them back up.
