  • Works way better than I thought it would
I used this adhesive to glue new fabric on chairs. The original fabric was ugly and glued to the cushions, so I glued the new fabric right onto the old. This adhesive is extremely tacky! Worked perfect for my project!

  • Does it's job - just don't use it outside
I thought this product worked great. It applied easy enough. Yes, it's like silly string, but it has some organization to how it comes tumbling out of the can. It's simple to apply it uniformly. If you have followed the instructions, I'd imagine it would work perfectly. I had a scrupulously cleaned fiberglass board. I bought (2) cans and applied (3) coats on the first half of the board and the first half of the headliner each, with (5) minutes of dry time between coats. Right before I was set to apply the first half of the headliner, the wind kicked up, and the headliner folded over onto itself and immediately stuck in an inseparable way. So I ordered another can and another 3yds of headliner fabric. If when I re-do this project, and the adhesive fails, I'll update this. But I doubt that will be the case. I could tell from the adhesive product that when you follow the instructions, it would work terrifically. If you have a dusty board with remnant foam particles (not easy to remove, FWIW), don't apply enough coats, or don't let the product become tacky before applying the headliner, then I can see how the product would let you down. Follow the instructions, and you should be fine. And do it in a garage/shed, not outside. The wind is a cruel *****. UPDATE: Did the headliner in my small garage. Worked great. It is not easy to do - I had a few wrinkles in the headliner, but that's not the adhesive's fault. Definitely could help to have two people negotiating the headliner onto the board, starting at the middle and working outward to the ends that will be concealed by the trim. Overall, it looks great. Two weeks but later and it's stuck on the fiberglass really well, and I don't think the headliner will sag again in this old Jeep's lifetime. ... show more

  • Holds well, but sprayed streams of adhesive with the mist
I'm satisfied overall because it has held up well even during four weeks of temperatures ranging from 90 to 104 degrees. My only gripe is that instead of it spraying in a controllable mist, streams of the adhesive blew out simultaneaosly. This required additional spraying. Also, the streams of adhesive were visible when I burnished the fabric down, but once in place, it's unnoticeable. ... show more

  • Not easy to use but has a long adhesion time, so it's forgiving
I thought I'd only need one can when replacing the headliner in my 2006 truck, but I ended up buying two more from a local store! I actually tried two other brands, and I ended up liking this one the best because it had a long adhesion time and was forgiving when I had to pull it back and try again. I watched a couple of long videos online and followed their steps closely, so the install went pretty smoothly. It looks so good now that it makes the visors look old by comparison! I definitely recommend getting this brand, and I suggest buying at least 2 (or three for an SUV or truck). ... show more

  • Spray nozzle sputters
At about the half-full mark the can went from spraying a 2"-3" fan pattern to sputtering like a can of silly string. I was in the middle of a headliner project. Fortunately, I limped the can through the second half of the project without it quitting completely on me. Before the issue, I was hoping for a wider fan than the 2"-3" I was getting. It made coverage difficult. Operation was done well within required conditions. ... show more
