Adam’s Ceramic Wheel Coating with UV removes the risks of missed sections and improper application. Upon application, you will use the same process as usual except now you have the ability to shine a UV light and indicate where you’ve applied product, uneven areas, and final wipe down inspection. This technology and unique chemistry was developed to make the process of ceramic coatings easier for the everyday user, and more thorough for the professional to ensure a thorough. Not only will you be saving time during your ceramic coating process, but this technology will help you to master your skills and assurance in your craft. The process still remains the same as this product looks completely invisible in your everyday environment! During the application process, the longer the coating rainbows and is exposed to more oxygen the more this coating will glow under UV light. Did two sets of black-painted OEM wheels for my Honda Type R. Labor intensive, but not much more than expected. There’s some product left, but probably not enough for another set of wheels, not an issue for me. Doesn’t quite live up to the hype. With complex painted black wheels, at least, don’t expect that you’re going to rinse the wheels, walk away, and the brake dust will be gone. I still need to use a spray-on wheel cleaner on the spokes and barrels, a soft detailing brush around the wheel nuts, agitate it overall with a microfiber wheel brush, which avoids scratches, use a microfiber glove from AutoZone to clean the joints between the spokes and where the joints meet the rims, rinse, and wipe it all down with a microfiber cloth. So, I’m not saving much time on that nasty job, but the results are better, really clean when I’m done, and glossier than the factory finish. Is it worth the cost and effort of application? I’d say yes, but more for the quality of the job done than for reduction in the amount of effort to do it. It doesn’t repel brake dust, just makes it somewhat easier to thoroughly remove it. ... show more

EDIT: I got around to doing my first wheel cleaning and this product helped ease this is no way. Sadly, I cannot recommend this item to anyone. Following the instructions meticulously results in no observable differences post-application. Holy Moses that was a long application process... And did all that time and work yield the most brake dust repellant wheels ever? Nope. Within a couple of days, my wheels look just as dirty as they did when they weren't coated. The coating "should" make the cleanup process easier (this is difficult to quantify for me) but I will still need to go through my normal wheel cleaning process. So in the end, this kit didn't really cut down my future wheel cleaning time commitment (maybe slightly) and my wheels don't really look an aesthetically better days after cleanup... so I'm pretty conflicted on whether or not I recommend this product. I have almost zero hydrophobic beading of water on my wheels (confirmed by other verified purchasers). Perhaps the UV kit was the better purchase (to verify application of the coating), who knows... What a huge time sink with spectacularly MEH results, nice one Adam's! ... show more

I watched the instructional video posted by Adams and follow their directions to a T. The ceramic did not rainbow like the video showed, which could have been due to the humidity, but it would haze over and I would continue on. My wheels appeared to look coated once I was finished, but the difference was minimal and what little coating was there appears to be gone in a month and my truck does not get driven much. Would likely try a different brand or pay a professional before trying this stuff again. ... show more

I applied the coating on Spoon Sports SW388 wheels, which are anodized matte black with a rough texture. The white soft towel used for prepping the wheels and doing the final wipe left a ton of lint. Although this product came highly rated and a lot of YouTube videos I was disappointed with the results. I followed the instructions provided in the package although it conflicted with the info in the YouTube videos. My first hand wash and rinse let the wheels spotted as there was no sheeting action or beading. I got this product to put on the wheels of my new F250 Lariat. It was very easy to apply and came with everything I needed and even extra. The cleaner that comes with it surprised me how well it got all of the crap on the wheels off. Coating the wheels was very easy, partially because the wheels aren't intricate. I did it right before I flew out of town, so they had plenty of time to cure. After about 700 miles now, i took a white rag to the wheels and had hardly anything come off! I was amazed! I haven't even used the ceramic booster yet, but I was so impressed I already got the large bottle of ceramic booster and the ceramic car wash from Adam's. ... show more
