So I own the Ikea Micke desk with the two drawers built in. It's an okay desk, but it's not very deep and the way it's built doesn't allow you to attach monitor mounts to the desk. I was on a quest to find a monitor stand that would sit on top of the desk and would allow me to stack my 27" monitor on top of my 40" widescreen monitor. I could only find one on some website called mountmymonitor, and they wanted $355 for a stand that accommodates up to 49" dual monitors. Everything else I found either wouldn't fit a 40" or had to be claimed to the desk. I almost gave up but soon enough I finally found this one for $35 and I'm happy to say it does the job. Assembly is easy but make sure you check the bags carefully. One section requires both steel and plastic washers (V1 and V2) and they put both sets in the same bag and just labeled it "V", so I almost thought that the steel ones were just missing. Both monitors fit very nicely and the glass base is very sturdy. And as you can see from the pic, you get the stacked look without having to clamp anything to your desk. This is a good stand, easy to set up. Makes multitasking easy and gives my desk setup the look I wanted. My only issue is with sceptre curved monitor (30" top & 34" bottom, both curved) the brackets to hold the monitor on bumps a screw in the center of the monitors mount location. It does come with spacers which is the only way it would work but the 34" still won't tighten all the way making it a little lose and wobbly but it works OK. I think that's more of an issue with how that particular monitor is set up and not an issue with the stand. The cable management that comes with the stand is nice and convenient. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I love how simple it was to set up and how strong it is. It is supporting a 34 inch wide screen and a 24 inch smaller monitor configured as pictured.

    • Very Nice Monitor Mount
I already have another monitor mount like this one but this one has some improvements that make it much better. First, the VESA attachment is much better. It allows better adjustment and you are able to tighten it down without feeling like you are going to break it. Second, the way the VESA attachment hooks into the tree is more secure. I wish they had made the locking bolt a little longer but actually, the low profile shape of it is pretty good. Other than that, it's about the same as the other one I have but if I had to do it all over again, I would get two of these instead. Especially at the price, it's incredibly affordable.
