Really great set and high quality (except for the cymbals themselves). This is not a toy, it’s an instrument. I love the tunable heads and the quality of the hardware. Evans Soundoff makes muting pads that fit all the heads so you can mute it and practice without torturing your household. The only con is the cymbals; they’re kind of cheap and don’t sound nice. But for this price point, that’s what I would expect. The cymbal hardware is good, though. When you buy this set, buy a 14” hi hat and a 16” crash. Switch them out and you’ll have the perfect little drum set. Also, Evans makes muting pads for those, too. ... show more

Good quality drum set. During assembling found one of the drum claws was bended and unusable. Had to buy a replacement claw from Amazon, otherwise repack and return. Received $20 credit for the trouble. Wish they had better QC.

My son absolutely loves his drum set. That’s all he really wanted for Christmas was a drum set. Both my husband and my father are drummers and were not interested in getting him a “toy “set. This really is like a smaller version of an adult-sized set. My husband even enjoys playing them from time to time. Lol. You’re not gonna get a big booming sound obviously because the drums themselves are small but it’s got a great feel according to my husband and my son loves playing it. ... show more

I'm an adult beginner. Was contemplating between this and an E-set. Very happy I got a real drum set. For the price it's an awesome value. The throne is tiny but what did I expect it's made for kids.

There is nothing to dislike about this setup. All great products. Symbols are sturdy. All professional gear. The seat can hold a 6’1” 225lb adult. Gingerly. Didn’t come with any assembly instructions. But there are some useful videos online.

Seems like a good set. However... There are NO instructions for set up with the set. The box has a website. However, the site does NOT work!!! Trying to look up a video. Got one for the full set. That got confusing real quick. Found a 5 min video I think from manufacturer. However most steps were done quick and my phone screen was so small I had to watch many parts 5 times. Took me THREE HOURS to assemble this (while in basement trying to not make noise). Very frustrating. My kid will probably love it though once you get over the assembly. But man you could include a booklet. I mean really. ... show more
