I have been using Pawfume shampoo and conditioner on my two Bichon Frisées for four years. I can’t say enough good things about this product! These two are a handful and are very active. They love to chase squirrels, hunt rabbits and opossums, and roll in the mud. Pawfume gets their fur so white and soft, without any skin irritation. I use it in conjunction with the Pawfume Grooming and Finishing Spray and they smell fresh and clean for a couple of weeks. I have German shorthair pointers so they don't need to be bathed often and they don't need a deep conditioner, just something to get the gunk off and if it does soften the fur, that's a huge plus. I first put my foster pup in the bath. This was her first bath since coming to me so she was filthy. This stuff lathered up great and rinsed out well. I do not normally write reviews , but this dog shampoo is the best I have tried, I would recommend this without a doubt , it helped me remove matts easily from my long haired dog and as with other shampoo the fragrance was light and my dog did not run around trying to rub it off, I was very surprised and after 1 week they are both still soft and without matts. will certainly buy again ... show more

This is the first shampoo I have been satisfied with for my dog in over 4 years. The smell lasts it is a clean scent. She isn’t dried out and scratching after. The bottle is sturdy and the pump works well. It’s not a huge bottle for the cost but you don’t need a lot to do the job.

A little expensive but it’s def worth it!! I have a 85lb German shepherd/golden retriever mix and her coat is very thick and can take a while to a get soaking wet, and my Pom mix also has a very thick fluffy coat and gets dirty really easily .I use a soap dispenser attachment on my hose (the ones used to wash cars with lol) and added about 15 pumps of soap in the soap holder. It doesn’t seem to get as sudsy as my previous dog shampoo but the lather is still thick and creamy, and the scent is very very strong! I smelled it just out of the bottle and it’s really nice! I love the musky, warm scent. Normally my dog has that wet dog smell during her bath but then when she’s dry she smells good but this shampoo completely took that wet dog smell away, all I smelled was the shampoo! I did 2 lathers and I scrub her down real good with bathing gloves to get the skin clean as well. The shampoo rinsed squeaky clean and left them smelling amazing! Didn’t even have to wait for them to fully dry down! My Pom mix dried real quick and she smells amazing too! I get a whiff everytime she runs past me 🩵 def will be buying again, although it’s a bit pricey, it’s def worth it, I just wish the bottle was a bit bigger but again you don’t need much.
