I doubted the Whal 4:1 reviews but they are spot on. Most importantly, clearly the pups love the way they feel post bath. The shampoo lathers and cleans deep….it gets everything, rinses without residue and makes bathing noticeably easier. Post drying their skin is fresh/lightly moisturized, fur is soft & fluffy and the smell is a pleasant light lavender. Additionally, I’ve started bathing the pups myself as the groomers would routinely mess up, I feel this is a healthy solution and would highly recommend. Id say it’s better than most human products. My bottle was delivered without leaks. My puppy smelled sooo good after I used this on her. And that lavender is so calming. She whined a little when I first put water on her but after lathering she calmed right down. She wasn't thrilled with having to take a bath but she did mello out. Afterwards every time I ran my hands through her coat, which was soft and fluffy, I got another whiff. Will continue to buy as she seems content & clean, no excessive scratching or irritation. I have two Labradoodles, and anyone who has one knows the hair is notorious for matting! I've tried so many expensive and specialized shampoos and conditioners, but was never really impressed by any of them. It's such a hassle to bathe them, I wanted to drop the second step of conditioning, so I started using a shampoo and conditioner in one that was specifically for doodles, but it was over $20 for a 16oz bottle. I came across this Wahl shampoo and thought I'd give it a try since it's so much more affordable and it's great!!! It even prevented the whole house from smelling like wet dog after I bathed them! The scent is light, but they still smell just washed fresh a day later. Their fur is soft and not tangled. Neither of them have a sensitive skin issue, so I can't speak to that, but it certainly didn't irritate their skin. Great product!! ... show more
