The hose is quite sturdy and the brass attachment ends are nice and seem well made. The reason for 4 stars is that it came with a dent in the rubber (not a kink) that will most likely remain permanent. It’s not impeding the water, just doesn’t look perfect. I was very pleased with this hose. Some fading in 3 months. the hose is the right mix of strength and flexibility. Luckily I was home today when I heard the sound of running water. I found a small pond forming and found that the crimped end had blown off. Such a shame. I liked it so much I had already bought a second one, which I won't be able to trust now. No idea if this is an isolated instance or if it will happen to the second hose as well. ... show more

I was disappointed to see how short this hose was. I should have paid more attention to the length. After looking at several others that were at least 20 ft, for some reason, I failed to check the length of this one. It is big around, but not very flexible.
