When I got this, I got it under the assumption that it was more flexible then it was.. The reason for my assumption.. Multiple of their pictures.. The one where they are carrying leaves, and the one where it is on a boat both make it look like it is not very stiff.. But that would be wrong.. The tarp is significantly stiff.. The pictures where it covers wood, a tent cover, and the car is more accurate to how flexible it is. Overall, it is better then cheap HF tarps. I think for basic use, it will hold up OK.. But I would say that if it is used with a lot of high wind conditions, it would not hold up good over time.. It would be nice to find a tarp that the material is more like that of my grill cover.. That would be much better.. If I had to explain it, I would say to just take a cheap tarp, and then put a layer over it to seal it up and hold it together so that it does not fray as easily.. I actually got mine to put over the stuff on the front porch in the winter.. Instead of putting all the stuff in the shed, we just stack it and then put a tarp over the stuff to protect it in the winter.. We always had to use 2 tarps in the past, but this one is big enough that we will only need to use one.. So it will not be put into full use until this winter.. But quality seems to be OK to decent.. Like I said, better than cheap tarps, but not as good as what my grill covers are.. Just right down the middle in quality. ... show more

this is no joke thick as tarp I went over every grommet and they are all done very well and reinforced, I am more than happy with the quality of this tarp, and the price has me needing to snag one more for the other thing I need a heavy thick tarp for, because you always need another tarp with these at least you won't be needing one so often that's a win. ... show more

I got this to use for camping trips.. Overall I really like this tarp. It is VERY heavy duty. It is very thick and has held up really nice against wind storms. Much of our heating is done with wood burning stoves, fireplace inserts and we have 2 fire pits that are used almost all year round. As you may imagine, we go through a lot of wood. I have a 15' x 20' shelter for my wood supply made with 4"x4"s with a shingled roof and all of it sitting on a concrete pad. Yes everything stays dry. However, several times I have actually run out of wood when I needed it most. Time to store more wood, right? The second concrete pad is only 8'x16' but there is no roof on it yet. One day I will get around to putting a roof over it. This is where this tarp comes in. Nice tarp. Really heavy duty, has grommets for tying it down and is big enough to cover everything on that second concrete pad - with room to spare. If this holds up for a couple of years I will consider this a big win. Wet firewood is the worst. Just from handling it and test fitting it, I would say this is a good bargain and has a great deal of value to it. Glad I got it. ... show more

Took this on our camping trip. It was the base of our tent and living area. It held up very well!! It was brown on one side and silver on the other. Not that it matters, but the brown matched all our equipment and camp set up. It was easy to fold up and put away when we packed up too. Very good buy!

You are not dealing with some cheap piece of plastic here! This thing is thick, and you can see it's woven. Two colors, silver on one side and brown on the other, though if you have the brown side up the silver border will show. Still, it allows you to have a slightly more subdued visual statement when in use. That border is pretty stout and there are grommets (brass or at least brass color) all around it.
