It is a bit of a chore to assemble. Follow the directions carefully! Tip when assembling the curved pieces, bolt the center losely first, it will be easier to fit the ends. Fiddly to put together, but once assembled feels sturdy. Only even 1/4 star deduction would be, I wish it had wheels to make putting it back in the garage easier, but I understand why not. Used a few times this summer, and didn't rust and the paint isn't bubbling off. Bigger that it looks in the pictures. Love the attached screen, included poker is a must to lift the lid because the handles get hot. Holds a fair amount of wood, and so far I really like it. Never used the BBQ rack yet. We prefer to just roast marshmallows rather than "cook" on it. ... show more

Got it for my boyfriend for his birthday present he loves it. Definitely recommend it. It looks amazing it was easy to assemble. The heat output and the functionality is amazing. And the size it's so big. I love it.

Completed half of the assembly, despite the instructions not being very clear. After spending a good amount of time assembling the bottom half of the fire pit, I found that I could not complete the assembly because the predrilled holes provided on the dome and the holding ring are several inches off their mark. Almost like they shipped parts for two different models. Am currently waiting for resolution from the company. No customer service phone number is provided, so am waiting on an email response before I disassemble, repack and return. It's a good looking fire pit, but worthless for the purpose we purchased it if it cannot be fully assembled. ... show more

Great size and solidly built firepit and grill. Many reviewers commented on the difficulty to assemble the unit which is untrue! Just CAREFULLY FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS AND FIGURES. Assembly instructions with figures are very well organized, but must be followed exactly. Donot tighten screws until the instructions indicate to do, otherwise, the mounting holes may not line up because some jostling may be required. However, the poorly tack welded Pivot handle broke off after 1st use. I donot want to return the assembly unit, please send me a new Pivot handle!! ... show more

We got it because the price was right. Hubby finally figured out how to get it together. The instructions were not the best. However, the “fire / heat wand” they give you broke with me doing a simple tug on it. You'll need to have a dofferent one to open the “mouth”.
