The silicone proofing baskets are good quality and clean well. They collapse to store easily. The dough cutters are good quality and do the job well. The basting brushes and dough whisk are very cheap quality. Dough gets stuck in the circle pieces on the dough whisk and it's very hard to get it out and the whisk bends very easily. The plastic bowl scraper came damaged. The brushes and whisk are tinny, They’ll make great toys for my toddlers toy kitchen. The handle to the whisk is really short. The baskets are nice. I recommend just spending the extra money for another kit with full sized accessories. Younwill end up spending it, or more, to buy full size tools later if you get this kit ... show more

This bread kit is a nice addition for someone who has a desire to delve into bread-making. It has just about everything needed to prepare your first, second, or even, 50th loaf. You need only supply the ingredients. Truly, it's a nice kit and would make an excellent gift. Great for those who want to learn the 'old' arts. Some of the tools don't seem like they'll last for years, but by the time they wear out, you'll know if bread making is for you or not. I didn't know if I would be a fan of the silicone proofing baskets in this set but it's pretty much a game changer. I use them for gluten free sourdough and if you bake gluten free bread you know it's a lot stickier than regular wheat flour. These make it so easy to proof set and let rise and let it do its thing then plop it onto the baking sheet. The other tools and accessories work great too!
