I needed something to use when it is cold and/or rainy outside as I am a bit of a fair-weather runner. I also have a very small house, and wanted to be able to store it in the off-season. After reading a ton of reviews, I settled on this little guy. Very sturdy, mostly metal and not a lot of plastic. So, it does tend to be heavy getting it out of the box (big! I helped the UPS driver get it off the truck, but then had to get it into my house by myself). Once you get it out and set up (setting up takes like 5 minutes max if you read the book and then go slowly! LOL) it is easy to move on the built-in wheels. Super-easy controls - simple - which is what I need, quiet, and goes fast enough for me to run, or easy to slow down to walk. And did I mention quiet? I don't have to use earbuds, I can hear my phone normally. This has been a great early Christmas present to myself, and will keep me going during the winter so I don't have to start all over in the spring. ... show more

I like how this treadmill does not take up much space at all . I plan on using this to get in some exercise and alleviate some negative health effects by not sitting all day long. So far I feel pretty safe on the treadmill, the emergency stop key works well and the touch screen are all easily accessible. Set up was really easy, it was pretty much just unpacking, unfolding the bar. Running so far feels stable, tried it at 7mph each session for a week so far. ... show more

    • would be great if you have short legs
I feel odd about having to assign stars to this. It would be a 5 star if I was 5 ft tall. I am 5' 6" and it was too short to the point of being dangerous. I used it 3 times and every time my foot slipped off the back at least once. Wasn't worth risking a broken bone so had to return. If it weren't for this it would be literally perfect and exactly what I was looking for. I'm going to try and find something similar but longer. ... show more

This treadmill is awesome. No real assembly, nicely packaged. The directions were clear and concise. It is a solid piece of equipment that takes up very little space, in fact it takes up less space when vertical than the manual treadmill. I was able to jog on it easily. It isn't super quiet but it's not loud (I probably wouldnt use it next to a sleeping person). Overall, I am impressed by this machine and look forward to using it again tomorrow (and that's coming from a chonky 45 year old). ... show more

    • Stopped working after 2 weeks
I bought this product and was quite happy with it. After 2 weeks of using it every day, the machine stopped abruptly without any warning, and the controls were locked up after 10 minutes. I unplugged/plugged it in and tried again, and after 15 minutes it happened AGAIN. The following day, it WON'T TURN ON!! The power light is on, but the controls don't work. I learned my lesson. Easy to set up and use, folds up for storage. I've used it every night since it arrived. Needed something to walk daily, meets all my expectations.

    • belt slips while using the treadmill
belt slips while using. I tightened the belt but it still slips so when you're walking on it you have to hold on and can't let go or you can fall off. I've almost fallen off several times.
