  • Very good
Color: Blue
OVERTURE’s 1.75mm PLA filament is a solid choice for 3D printing enthusiasts. The filament is easy to work with, providing smooth, consistent prints with great dimensional accuracy (±0.02mm). The blue color is vibrant and holds up well in various applications. I’ve used this filament for several projects, and it performs well with minimal warping or clogging. The cardboard spool is a nice touch for sustainability. Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced user, this PLA filament delivers excellent quality at an affordable price. ... show more

  • good filament, just don't let it sit too long
Color: Green (Glow in Dark)
I have had great results with Overture filament over the years, and honestly is my go-to for anything I need to print at scale. What did bother me about this particular filament though was that even out of the gate I was starting to have problems with it breaking off during printing. I was able to continue on, but that required restarting the full print due to my resume settings not working as I expected them to. If I was to purchase this again, I may throw it into the dryer first before attempting another print. ... show more

  • Great color great finish
Color: Green
Really liked the color, the consistency and overall finish. Overture is one of my preferred brands for 3D printing and it didn't disappoint. Really easy to print with practically default printing settings. Tried these Grogu figures with both Overture PLA filaments, one for green and the other is rock color changing. Loved the result. Totally recommend the brand. No tangles, no stringing. Great filament. ... show more

  • Kids love it!
Color: Green (Glow in Dark)
I bought this to make a shark for my kids bathroom and they love it! The glow works well and looks good! Overall the filament was easy to work with, all you need to do is calibrate it correctly and you should be good to go!

  • Overture quality not the same for this roll
Color: White 2kg-1 Pack
I've been using Overture filaments for a long time now, but this is my first time going with the 2kg spool. At first it all was great, the print quality was as good as expected. However, after going through around 1/3 of the spool it started clogging the nozzle and extruding some kind of black contaminant. Tried using other filaments from overture and the problem was not there, so that confirms that its on the filament end rather than the printer. Overall these filaments are great and have had good quality prints with their other spools, I'm just no sure about the quality control of the 2kg spools. ... show more

  • Smooth Extrusion on Bambu P1S
Color: Silk Gold
I can't speak to shelf stability because I have only had it for a couple of weeks, but out of the package? This stuff melts like butter and shines like gold. I've had to make no adjustments to the built-in profiles in BambuStudio and the spool seems to do just fine in the AMS. Seriously good for the price. ... show more

  • This is now my go to brand for PLA filament
Color: White 2kg-1 Pack
I have tried several brands of filament over the last several years of printing, and when I first tried Overture, I really liked it. Unfortunately, at the time, the printer I had (the Ender 5 Pro) had ALL sorts of issues, and so while the filament worked really well when I was able to get good prints, the times that the printer didn't fail were few and far between and I wasted a decent amount of filament. Got a Prusa MK4 back in October (which I HIGHLY recommend!) and in the past month and a half have used two full 2 kg spools of Overture, and two 1 kg spools, with nearly non-stop virtually failure free printing. The details I have been able to get with this combo of printer and filament have been amazing, and while I will still print small things off that have a lot of detail using the resin printer I have, due to FDM supports having a tendency to rip off small details still (it seems better than it was, but I haven't been able to tweak it enough to keep the small stuff from breaking off trying to remove them), but the bigger models and prints that I have done so far have been great! I would liken the quality of these prints to where resin printing was back around the pre-mono screen resin printing days, or slightly better, which is absolutely amazing for an FDM printer. I have had relatively little stringing, although if I do have any it's typically between really small details, such as the teeth in the dragon's mouth, but it's been easy enough to clean off. That said, I've already bought two more 2 kg spools of white PLA, one of which I've already started printing from since I got it yesterday, and will be buying another 2 kg of black so that I can print the helmet of the Black Knight from Monty Python's Holy Grail movie for my 2025 Halloween costume! ... show more
