Not very easy to clean Heats up very quickly. *** and so does the thin metal frame around it. PLEASE PLEASE BE CAREFUL WITH THIS. When you set it on the counter or wherever, please please be mindful of what is close to it. Move potholders and dish rags and paper towels!! *** It does work well. Very portable. But not as easy to stow as the single burner version. Smell? Nothing unless a pot boils over. Then you know what that's like! Ick. ... show more

You can't beat the price if you are looking for the absolute basic, this works pretty good. That said, I am shopping for a better one after owning this for about 3 months. It works okay for light cooking, but it's small and it will BARELY boil a pan of water. I need something a bit bigger and with a bit more energy. I learned my lesson.
