I got the gray and the stained wood also. Have to say I like the gray one better despite the bad reviews on it I ended up getting a good one painted well and looks good for the price :)) very happy with my purchase I give it a five out of five for sturdiness, easy assemble, quality, price, etc.

So for the price, I wasn’t expecting the sturdiest heavy duty hardwood and neither should you. It’s a cute bench that looks good but probably isn’t good for two people of any weight to sit on. I don’t expect it to last decades without being sealed a few times - but for what I paid, I’m more than satisfied. The hardware was in a bag (thankfully) and not vacuum packed by the devil himself. Mine came with directions - but there weren’t necessary at all. The build is honestly idiot proof - but you do need a Phillips head and a 14mm wrench. Easy peasy lemon squeezy. Took less than 20 minutes to put it together. But it’ll need to be sealed. Likely every year. Or it’ll likely not last long - so go buy yourself some spray poly or varnish or something while you’re at it. ... show more

I was hesitant to but this bench because of the weight capacity as my husband actually wanted a functional bench for both of us. Together we would exceed the weight capacity, but it holds up. I wouldn't go jumping around on it but it does what it should despite being so cheaply made.

Came damaged but seller did make it right. It is smaller than expected but easily fits 2 people. Wood seemed like it would not hold up but after putting it together and sitting on it we’re happy with final product.

I was very disappointed in the bench. It isn’t sturdy ( it says it will hold up to 500 pounds but I wouldn’t trust it) a few pieces were chipped off which I can glue them back on but I shouldn’t have. So it will be used as a decorative piece of furniture on my front porch. I’m sure the delivery men will appreciate a place to put my packages. I knew I wasn’t getting top notch furniture for the price I paid but I expected to at least be able to sit on it. ... show more

Bought 2 of these, they are sturdy and easy to assemble, only have a couple bolts and 4 screws. Finish is a little rough, but fits the rustic style we were going for.
