Love everything except the ability to provide heat for an open porch. The heat is mainly directed upwards so it doesn't work warming someone sitting in from of it because it is so tall. This patio heater was easy to put together, and it's easy to run. Just choose Level 1, Level 2, or Level 3 for the amount of heat you need, and you can set a timer for however long you want it to run. The remote is easy to use, too. This will come in handy during the "winter" here in Florida! I do wish it had a longer cord, but my husband has a big sturdy extension cord that works fine. The only confusing thing is a big wire bracket thing that came with it that isn't mentioned in the instructions, and we're not sure what it's for (see photo). I'm guessing maybe it's something to use if you want to mount the heater on the wall instead of standing it up. All in all, it's a good heater! ... show more

    • Nice outdoor heater
This heater was a little challenging to assemble, but it works well, and is tall. The main issue is that the cord is super short, so you will probably need an extension cord unless you place it very near the outlet. Seems sturdy.

I used this heater indoors to try it out first and found the cord to be a little short if the heating element is all the way up. I'm sure with it down to the middle the cord will be a little bit longer. I like that it came with a remote control and it had 3 settings for the heat.

    • Great for patio/balcony heating
The media could not be loaded. This heater was easy to assemble and I love the height options as well as the pivoting head. Perfect for directing heat and the remote is also a plus. This was ordered to use durning a wintertime outdoor evening function, so haven’t officially used it, but did test in the garage. The unit itself heats up quickly and there are three levels of heat output, which fire up after a few minutes per each level. It takes awhile to completely heat an open area, but it does so within a reasonable amount of time, and once the area is heated it remains constant. At first use there was a faint smell but it did not last long nor did it linger. I plugged this into an extension cord with surge protectors as the cord for the heater is rather short (especially considering it’s designed for outdoors), so I had no issues with any fuses being blown. The unit also has clips that run alongside the pole, to tuck the cord neatly, helping to eliminate safety hazards by having someone trip over the cord. So far this works precisely as I was hoping. No complaints other than the short cord, and overall am satisfied. ... show more

    • Easy to set up, warming abilities “meh”
**UPDATE** the heater has stopped working after only a handful of uses. It powers on, and you can select the different settings, none of which work. No longer warms up. Save your money or buy something else. Assembled easily, and I like that it has the option to mount (on a wall) or use the included pole and base. Easy to turn on, plug and play, no wiring necessary. Only downside is it doesn’t seem to warm up the space much. Granted we have it sitting inside a 2 car garage, but it was running for 6+ hours and the garage was still cold (it was around +/- 30 degrees F outside, so not overly cold. Sitting directly under it provided some warmth, but maybe because there is no fan blowing the heat out 🤷🏻♀️ overall okay, nice that it is water resistant and made to be outdoors or indoors. We will likely bring this with us when we go camping in cooler months to stay warm while outside. ... show more

I like how tall this heater can be but you can make it shorter, which is what we choose. Heat works quick but the down fall is there’s no blower. So you have to be directly In front of the heater to get the most out of it. I also love the timer setting . The materials seem high quality and I feel safe using it. ... show more

This is a nice heater. We love to sit outside, so we have been looking for an electric one for our covered front porch that doesn't make you feel like you're looking into the sun. We love that it is adjustable so you can raise or lower it to whatever height you want. The three levels of heat are really nice too, and it was simple to put together. We did feel like even on the highest setting it wasn't giving off quite as much heat as we expected, but we tried it out on a pretty cold and windy night so that could be why. We also really like the remote and timer features. Overall, we are really happy with it and expect to use it a ton when the temperatures get a little closer to 50 degrees again. ... show more
