I'm very happy with my purchase on these chairs. I bought four of the Navy ones a Monday, they were delivered the following Wednesday, so shipping was quick. I honestly thought that I have to put together every single piece, but the full back and the full seat was already put together. You just had to put together the arms and attach the arms and the stretchers to the seat and the back. It goes much faster if you have a drill or cordless drill with the right bit. The four chairs took maybe an hour to put together, with the first one going a little bit slower because I was reading the directions. If you look at the pictures, and the written directions on the back of the instructions, it's pretty clear what you need to do. My only mistake was putting together the arms of the first one with the surface down on my driveway, and I scratch them a bit. Doing it on a piece of the cardboard on subsequent chairs provided a much better work surface. These are nice and heavy and I have no doubts that last us for many years. ... show more

Beautiful addition to our small outside (cement) patio deck. Shipping was quick and the chair arrived packaged properly. I had to watch a video to get the chair assembled due to the picture diagram of instructions. The company was very kind to offer further instructions and assembly proved quick. My husband is 6'4 and weighs 220. The chair is able to support his weight without any buckling or wobbling. In addition, the color is a deep rich black able to blend in with any decor. This actually is ergonomically correct, curved for your back (as opposed to more expensive Pollywood products that are extremely uncomfortable and much more expensive). My husband sits for hours watching football in these chairs while I slave away in the kitchen.

I was skeptical at first because of the low price point. I once worked for a company that handmade this type of chair and their base unit was 3x the cost of this chair. This is definitely a good buy for the money. Sturdy, heavy, and comfortable.

My first impression after building these is that they are very sturdy and will last for many years. Love the color. My only negative comment at this point is that the assembly instructions have a really bad error. It suggests that you should use the short screws to affix the chair back to the seat, and to use the long screws for the connector railings. It's completely the reverse. If you follow the instructions, I'm concerned that the chair could suddenly come apart and cause injury. (I hope people are realizing this, and not following the directions literally.) ... show more
