Chronicles of my blender experience: I've owned a blender for as long as I can remember. I love smoothies and shakes. And I tend to cling to a blender when I've gorged on food 9 times too many and need to focus on clean eating for a while (i.e. diet). I've always had a giant one enough to make smoothies for 4-6 as it's used for the family. It's always been a hassle to clean around the blade. And taking a smoothie with me requires an extra step of pouring it into another bottle. If I just want to make a small smoothie for myself, it seemed like a lot of work. So I bought another individual small blenders a few years ago. The product was so underwhelming that I forgot the brand. It looked like my big blender but miniature size and I can make an individual smoothie with it. It died on me within a few months. I then went try the BlenderBottle, which was a craze at the time and I see everyone with one. Personally, I didn't like it. It's just a plastic bottle with a metal ball. The bottle wasn't high quality and always felt flimsy to me. The metal ball was no magic ball and didn't do anything in terms of blending. Even a simple powder and almond milk tasted super clumpy. So in a week, it was demoted to obscurity... I don't even remember where it went. Maybe storage in the garage. I've went back to my big blender since then but don't use it as much as I want to. I recently stumbled upon this blender and decided to purchase. I've had this blender for about 10 days so far and now can't see myself without it. It's super convenient and perfect for those needing a smoothie or shake on the go. And the blade is small and easy to clean. It takes me a few minutes to make a smoothie and I'm out the door.It's also the perfect blender for one. I like that there are individual bottles for sale so the whole family can have individual bottles to use. Since I received mine, I've been using it to make a smoothie right before I head out the door. It's also perfect for going to the gym. I like the shape of this as it's thin and tall and saves me space on the kitchen counter. It sits nicely nice to my giant blender and doesn't take up much space. I have been using this personal blender every day since I received it two weeks ago. I wanted a personal-size blender that’s easy to clean compared to the large regular-size blenders. I use it for smoothies with juice, fresh fruit, frozen fruit, and ice cubes. The operation is easy - put your ingredients in the bottle, put the blade cover on real tight, turn it upside down, place it on the motor, then turn it about 1” and the motor kicks in. When you turn it, the bottle locks in which means you can let go of the bottle. I let it whirl for 20-30 seconds. Remove the bottle, turn it rightside up, remove the blade cover, and screw on the drinking cover. It crushes the ice cubes into slush after 20 seconds. After 30 seconds everything is frothy. I usually drink straight from the bottle. The bottle is too tall to use a normal length straw so if I really want to use a straw, then I pour it into a glass. Condensation forms on the outside of the bottle. I use a coozie to keep my hands dry and to prevent a puddle from forming on the table. The bottle with the coozie fit into my vehicle’s cup holder. I don’t have much counter space, so after each use I put it away in the cabinet. It’s lightweight and small enough for me to do this every day. The instructions were easy to follow and the box itself contained a recipe for a smoothie and another for a shake. I like that it converts the ice into slush, only takes 20 seconds, easy clean up, and it’s a fun way to eat fruit! ... show more

I love this little thing more than I expected to! When my nice large blender died, I was faced with a choice -(a) give up blending, since I did it so infrequently, (b) replace it with the same one, or (c) try something new. Since this cost a fraction of the original, and takes up far less space, I decided to give it a try after reading many reviews for all types of regular and single serving blenders. On the rare occasions that I did use my old blender it was for a quick healthy breakfast shake. I always made too much or not enough. It was a pain to clean. It took us a full half a shelf in a cabinet. It was heavy and clunky which defeated the purpose of a quick and easy breakfast or snack. So unless I could get something without all of those problems, I was just going to forgo having a blender. At this price I didn't have high expectations. Upon taking it out of the box, I loved how light and compact it is. I love that the blending container is light and easy to clean. I love that the blade is small and easy to clean. I love that it has the drink top so you can drink it right out of the blending container is you really want want to. I love that it's just the right size, so there's never any leftover or guessing games as you're filling it. I finally have a blender that can live right on my counter without wasting space! And since there's room for it on the counter, I use it daily since it doesn't get lost and forgotten in the cabinet. So why the 4 stars instead of 5? It doesn't blend quite as well as a full size powerful one. I've blended ice - up to maybe 8 cubes and it's fine, but not as fabulously smooth as other models. Mostly I do yogurt with frozen fruit and liquid, and for that it is 100% suited to the job. Also, the drinking lid isn't so great. It's a nice feature, but you can't really drink a smoothie without a straw - they're thick and won't come out evenly and can make a mess. The lid screws on nicely but the flap that covers the drinking hole isn't completely spill proof. It doesn't come with a straw, and a standard straw doesn't reach the bottom of the cup. So I typically pour it into another cup. It would get 5 stars from me if it truly was easy and convenient to drink out of. For my purposes this was an excellent purchase. If you do a lot of ice or really NEED to be able to drink out of the cup, it may not be for you. ... show more
