Got these for a Halloween decoration, absolutely love them so far. The design is super cool with the hole on top, so the flame flicks right out of the eyes and the roof of the head really well. And they just look really cool stacked on top of a fire-pit, or we will also put them individually on top of torches to add a really neat looking effect. The mini ones are nifty because they have various uses, and they are easy to store. The Osker fire pit skull is an excellent decoration for a fire pit. This stands out from others on the market in many ways. One of the most important ones is the heat it can withstand. Many on the market are only rated for up to 300 degrees, which is not nearly high enough to be used in a fire pit as they are shown; this one is rated for 1,800. We have a 127,000 BTU outdoor fire pit so it puts out a LOT of heat. This one has held up wonderfully. Another thing that many hide is the size - this is truly life-sized, where many of the cheaper ones are only a few inches tall. The final thing that stood out is how well this arrives packaged - it came in a box surrounded by padding so it can be safely stored if you only plan to use it for part of the year. Before ordering this I wondered if it was worth spending more than the cheaper ones on the market but now that I have it I've realized it is worth every penny. ... show more

Love it! Bought these for my Halloween party & my bonfire pit was the talk of the town. Everyone sat & enjoyed the fire while taking about these all night lol. Everything about these (purchased 2) worked out amazing, awesome material, no foul smell, looks awesome & burned super cool. The way the flames came out,the cracked on the skull,eyes & mouth!! It was so cool to watch the skull turn black and rocks change the color of the fire. I was skeptical about it being fire proof but when we removed it from the fire it started turning to white again and didn’t crack! I’ll be buying more to incorporate them into my firewall of my pit! Looks great in the fire! It lasted well in an outdoor wood bonfire with no damage or cracks, just some charring which we expected and thought made it look even more lifelike and creepy. No weird odors or fumes, either. It's a nice size and weight, too. I would recommend!
