Pawleys Island is our beach! We loved the Pawleys Island Hammock Shop. We lived close by as newlyweds. Anyway, we knew the quality was exceptional and we have only bought (or kept) Pawleys Island hammocks. We ordered a different brand once to save money and returned it because it wasn't anywhere near the same quality. We like the duracord. It is soft and lasts much longer than cotton. We've had a Pawleys Island hammock between 2 maples for 15 years now. It is my happy place. They last roughly 5 years each. We live in a temperate climate and some years never put them away for the winter. The antique brown is pretty. I recommend this brand highly. The only annoyance was to find out that the hammock I ordered was not in stock and needed to be manufactured. I contacted the company several times and they kept giving me a new estimate. They did offer to cancel and refund the order if I wanted due to the delay. I figured that based on the reviews it would be worth the wait and it was! It is a great hammock. Instant relaxation and very comfortable. Everything seems very well built. I’m a bigger guy and it supports me without any sag or seeming strain. It might have been nice for the company to give me 10% off for the extended wait time as the error in having the item posted for immediate sale and shipping was on their end. We love Pawley Hammocks as we are now on our second one, but a bit disappointed that this one did not come with the S hooks for the stand. If you are going to include the hooks for a tree why not include the hooks for a stand which I'm guessing most people own?

This is a great well made hammock. It is comfortable and sturdy. The customer service is amazing. The one I ordered was not in stock they emailed me immediately and suggested this hammock instead. They shipped it priority mail and I had it in three days. What a great experience and love the hammock.
