  • It's not magic, but pretty fast. Solves some laptop expandability issues. Recommend.
Capacity: 2TB
Have a laptop that came with limited expandability and only one small SSD. It was okay, but I wanted more storage capacity (2TB) while retaining the speed of a PCIe SSD as my only drive. Price was right. Easily installed. Reformatted everything including fresh Win 11 install. Then loaded all previous Library folders on this drive. Works great and has more than another TB of storage remaining. Comes with an aluminum heat sink with silicone conductor strips that protect the SSD. When the heat sink is installed over the PCIe board, it's only a little thicker (perhaps double the thickness) of the board. It all fit fine within my small laptop and no extra cooling provisions required. Jury is still out on how long this will last, but so far, I'm pleased. Seems to be going strong and is plenty fast for a home PC. Recommend. ... show more

  • Fast SSD. Works great in external enclosures as well.
Capacity: 2TB
Purchased this to go into a thunderbolt 4 enclosure for my MacBook Pro. I consistently get 5-6k reads - 4-5k writes on my MacBook Pro M3. Performance was identical on PC as well (external enclosure) SSD remained cool under load when used in an enclosure. I’m sure installing directly in a PC would be the same. Came with heat sink which I did not use as my enclosure had one. All in all easy to install, Compatible with Mac’s and PC’s, and seems to be a quality drive. Will buy again next time I need storage. I purchased the 2tb version of this product. ... show more

  • Work perfectly
Capacity: 1TB
Great SSD, runs great, writes fast, comes with heat sinks and thermal pads. 40 degrees. Works great for the price for gaming. Could compete with other common brands. I recommended 100%.

  • Decently fast
Capacity: 2TB
I swapped my main drive for this and the cache on board made things load way faster. Easy to install and for the price, its a great value.

  • Great Product, Fair Price, Buy This!
Capacity: 2TB
Bought this to replace a stock primary drive in a new Mini PC. Price was fair, product is excellent. I've use lots of Orico products in the past, mostly Enclosures for SSDs and Hubs. Trusted the name so I bought this drive and it's great. Crystal disk shows it to perform at stated spec, and though I know it's probably a rebrand (from Adata?), I like and trust the Orico name. Got a Black Friday price for this, I'd buy it again at the regular price if the need arises. ... ... show more

  • Quadruple's my Mac storage, but I'd love better long-term endurance on the 1TB drive
Capacity: 1TB
Everyone knows paying Apple for more internal storage is expensive. Usually the smart thing to do is to go with the base amount of storage and buy an external SSD. I’ve got a Mac Mini, but I haven’t been able to download massive files to it because there’s no space. Thankfully, it has a hub attached with a slot for an SSD, so I ordered this. This was easy to install in seconds. I peeled off the sticker, clicked it into the hub, twisted the screw, closed the door, and plugged the hub back in. When I booted up the Mac, the computer said it couldn’t recognize the drive. So I opened Disk Utility and reformatted it to the suggested settings. That took just moments and afterward the drive was useable. 1TB has quadrupled the amount of space I had. The drive seems to work plenty fast and (because it's in a hub) is accessible across multiple user accounts, which I love. The package included a “cooling vest”, but the instructions didn’t seem clear to me on whether this was required or not. The manual for the hub told me heat sinks weren’t supported, so I assumed I should install it without it. So far it seems to be working fine. The marketing materials indicate this drive has a lifespan of 600 terabytes being written to it. So if it’s a 1TB drive, I could fill it and empty it completely 600 times before it starts to fail? I mean, I guess that’s a lot? But if you’re a heavy user, that doesn’t seem like much. Other models offer much better endurance. ... show more

  • So fast...and so far, so good!
Capacity: 2TB
Only time will tell about quality, but damn is this drive fast! No issues working with my Gigabyte Z790 Aorus AX motherboard. I will confirm the PCB is thin as other reviews have noted, but still feels fine and its sitting under the motherboard heat sink plate so should be fine.

  • Inexpensive and fast!
Capacity: 1TB
This thing is fast, really fast! Like 7,000MB/s for real fast! Build quality is a bit lacking, PCB is very thin, so only time will tell how it holds up. Best used as W.O.R.M. storage for gaming and not as a boot drive. Paid less than $50 for 1TB, so far, so good. Did I mention it's fast?
