Features

  • DESIGNED AND COMPATIBLE FOR THE CONSOLE: Engineered to fit perfectly and easily into the console's SSD expansion slot for a quick and easy install.
  • WORLDS FASTEST SSD: The console requires SSD speeds of at least 5500MB/s and our Sabrent Rocket 4 Plus not only achieves this but exceeds it with read and write speeds of 7100MB/s and 6600MB/s respectively.
  • REVOLUTIONARY COOLING: Made from High-Quality CNC'd aluminum, the Sabrent Heatsink is compatible for the console specifically designed to maximize cooling performance and simplify installation.
  • UPGRADE YOUR CONSOLE! Rather than creating a heatsink that would only trap the heat in the metal cover, we designed a heatsink that replaces the native consoles cover. This allows for better cooling using the native fan as well as being a larger heatsink.
  • INDUSTRIAL QUALITY: This SSD heatsink method also uses Sabrent's "Sandwich Design" which ensures even pressure throughout the SSD for efficient and consistent heat transfer unlike methods used by other brands.

  • Best value for the money PS5 storage
Capacity: 1TB
Tons of options available when looking to upgrade your internal memory storage for the PS5, but many of those options can be very pricey at the 1TB range (and even more astronomical for a 2TB), but this Sabrent 1tB storage had a great price point of right around $100, and the performance is top notch. Comes with an included heat sink to keep things running smoothly and installation was a breeze; literally took me 5 minutes tops. The performance so far has been A-1 - I cannot tell the difference between playing games from the internal PS5 storage versus this memory stick. No hesitations whatsoever in recommending this for your PS5 storage upgrade ... show more

  • PS5 compatible
Capacity: 1TB
I was apprehensive when I ordered this based on a number of reviews that says it clocks slower than recommended for PS5 and/or that I would need to plug it into a PC to update the firmware. After a bunch of research, I took the plunge anyway. Worked great. Not 7000+, for which I assume I would need to update the firmware, but the PS5 recognized it as being 6300+, which is plenty for my PS5 needs. The heat sink seems really good, and other more technical review sites that can image heat and get accurate readings seem to think that the heatsink is very effective. Will update if this thing dies too quickly or something, but the price compared to other similar ssd's with heat sinks, on top of this particular heat sink being explicitly designed for PS5, plus the ease of installation, and with the more-than-sufficient speed clocked by the PS5 all make this a 5-star buy so far. ... show more

  • Super awesome. Easy install
Capacity: 2TB
AWESOME! IT'S THE 1 YOU WANT! I was so happy to get this "gift." Ultra easy install! So much additional memory. Great quality. Great price for it's storage. I think it's just perfect. I downloaded many games before I filled it up. PS5 recognizes and swapping between the 2 storages is simple. 100% approve this product. If you can afford more storage then do that. This was perfect for me. So easy to install with instructions plain as day. All the reviews I did and I'm glad I landed with this guy. Couldn't be happier! ... show more

  • Does what it's supposed to do. Be sure to register. (1tb)
Capacity: 1TB
First one I ordered was a dud, neither PS5 or Windows PC could detect it. Replacement works fine. I doubt the heat sink is truly brand new, it's got obvious signs of use, but I don't care - it's a chunk of metal with a thermal pad, hidden away behind the plastic cover plate. Install was super easy. Make sure to watch a video first. You could easily miss a critical step with a spacer, or even have a hard time slotting the drive in. Speeds are comparable to the standard on-board SSD of the PS5, read speeds of my sample were around 6,000mb/s per the post format speed report. $170 for 1TB is absurd IMO, but what can you do? Over time these should get cheaper. Also, to my pleasant surprise, the console reads this nvme as a full 1tb, I was fully expecting 931gb. You'll want to expand the storage of your PS5, SSD's have limited write cycles, so you don't want to delete games very often, and the PS5 has an on-board SSD that can not be easily replaced. Make sure to register with Sabrent to get the 5 year warranty, 1 year is the standard. ... show more

  • Good deal
Capacity: 2TB
This is a great addition for my PS5. Very easy to install and setup. With the new cover/heat sink and at a decent price you can't go wrong.

  • Read speeds (for ps5) are not as advertised
Capacity: 2TB
I’m not one that ever cares about the packaging a product comes in, but i will say it was very neat and pretty. Installation was a snap once i got over the fear of yanking my console apart. My biggest complaint is that I’m running at almost 2,500 mb/s slower read/write speed than sabrent claims. I’ve heard from others that it needs to be updated via pc to reach it’s full potential or that possibly it just cant reach those speeds in the ps5 as opposed to a proper gaming pc. Either way i feel that’s something that the seller should note. Regardless I haven’t really noticed any difference at all. I was able to move almost 100GB from console to ssd in under 25 seconds so it’s certainly fast! ... show more

  • Good start, PS5 hardware differences?
Capacity: 1TB
So I bought my 1st PS5 earlier this month, model 12xx and I got this at 1TB with heatsink cover. Took me longer to install cuz my first time trying to take off the PS5 cover, and it does go in easily. However, I just noticed watching install videos(after I already put in mine), the little spacer on my PS5 does not go in to the PCB board like on all the videos, mine is different, it sits on top of all the holes on the PCB, so as soon as I unscrew it there is no way it stays in place by itself. What I did was stick the little screw driver through the spacer and into the PCB hole, slide the SSD in slot, use the screw driver then to pry/nudge the SSD into the slot, very gently, cuz fat fingers, again, gently take out the screw driver so the spacer stays in place to align screw. Put the rest together, formatted through PS5 1 time, showing 65xx mb/s and 1.02TBs free space. ... show more
